Do you guys chase balloon parties? Do you enjoy them ? As I have written recently I have become very poor with and the Australian vs Thai baht sinking and my lowly paid janitor job I have now resorted to chasing the balloon parties in bars and last night stumbled upon a bar with balloons Met the farang owner who said they were having a benefit night for some guy can't remember his name ,"back kicks ?" Backticks ? ... something back ,not that I care but I had to put my fantastic acting skills on all in the name of getting freebies ! Yes ! I said to the owner let's help out old Back kicks as we all lined up for our food ,what a great bloke I said to the other old farangs not even knowing who back kicks licks ticks or whatever his name was Here's three cheers for" Back kicks" they shouted as I scoffed into the free food and ....water ....yes alcohol wasn't free ! I think they were fund raising for someone but what a great bloke I shouted...backkicks I ended up by myself near the door after several stopped talking to me after I told them it seems a bit racist only using black balloons and not to mention colours as it's now not PC Now to get out without donating money ,(yes they had a bucket ) I pretended to get a phone call which I went outside for then bolted up the streets!

Yes today I will visit two new doctor clinics I noticed there is a new one now in Jomtien , opposite the complex area Beautiful looking white & blue colours I took a picture

I have heard the Outback of Australia is more expensive, no I think I will have to start living like an old backpacker ,buses to airport from Pattaya , hostels as rooms ,maybe even someone here will lend me their room It's the working poor like me who can't afford these prices of inflation. Many of us in Australia as janitor are working for less than $5 an hour we are the working poor with no retirement benefits, I will end up an old sex worker with a beer bottle laying outside the Nirun Condo's at 7am in the morning wearing a Chang singlet !!!

Well as there is a lot of people with indian background who work with me ,I'm thinking India They seem to go there on our $5 hourly rate sometimes twice a year ,! Yes I have had to change I found 40 baht second hand t shirts at Soi bukhao market And....I went to a buffet and when they wernt looking I quickly put the food in a container in my bag ,take it home for later !

Now I have been advised by another visitor in my hotel to go to Vietnam that's where he is moving to Please how do you Australian expats survive on old age pension here when prices here in Thailand are comparable to Australian prices after the exchange I paid nearly $6 for a 6 inch subway ,same price in Australia Gone are the days of buying cheap shoes and clothing here in Thailand Nearly $5 for a pair of thongs and I don't mean underwear! Please ! The thongs that go on your feet Is Vietnam cheaper,I still have 3 weeks to go on my work leave , I feel like I should go back to Australia where it's cheaper .what an expensive place How do you afford to retire you guys who only have a small Government pension ??
