Same here, I recently needed a new card and they would not send it anywhere but an American address. I had them send it to a family member who then mailed it to me. Maybe I'll try adding my Thai address and see what happens next time I need a new one.

Cigna Global health insurance renewal – Now I’m getting worried .
Tedly replied to tomgreen's topic in Health and Medicine
A guy I know (68) just bought insurance last year with a company called Thai Life. I million baht policy with a 50,000 baht deductible and the yearly premium is like 35,000 baht a year. Might be worth looking into at least. -
US Orthodontist Says She Was Electrocuted In "Freak Accident" In Thailand
Tedly replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hope she fully recovers, but I wonder why the need to mention how many followers she has in Instagram, like what does that have to do with anything. I laugh at the term "influencer" too, they sure don't influence me. -
thanks

Where in Chiang Mai did you get them?

No, but maybe I should, less drama. Haha

I go to Winner hobby pretty often but I don't think they carry that type of stuff. I've been doing some resin casting and had been getting my silicone rubber from Rungart in Bangkok, and my urethane resin from a hobby store in Singapore, or epoxy resin from Lazada. Hope this helps Rungart does have a pretty big variety of things but you still wouldn't be able to actually see it and go buy it in a store.

Alcohol Wholesalers Hit By Weak Holiday Season Sales

That's my choice too, I like the new Chang "cold brew" everyone around my village drinks Singha, which is too bitter for my taste. Beer Laos and San Miquel Blanca beat the "big 3" though in my opinion. -
Sorry, maybe I should have said Giorno plus. It's a 125cc

I just went through this myself, the cheap scooters are used and abused, the decent used ones are almost as much as new. I looked at a used Honda Click for 58,000 baht, and ended up buying a new Honda Giorno for 65,000 baht and they way I see it, the new one will most likely last my lifetime as I don't put that many KMs on. Unless I ride more than I expect which is possible. But overall so far I am very happy with my choice.

That's my area, I can do a 40km loop from my house down 118 and around Mae Kuang dam with back roads home, or turn right at the dam entrance and there are many back roads that are a pleasure to ride on with very few cars.

Prikpot sells ready made tea bags but it takes about 2 hours to feel any affects. I'm with you on not wanting to put anything into my lungs after quitting smoking 40 years ago

Looking For Knowledgeable Auto Mechanic For old Car
Tedly replied to bhatmasterson's topic in Chiang Mai
I have to agree but I'm pretty sure 1997 would be fuel injected, maybe what they were telling him about "idle motor" means Idle air control motor (I.A.C.) and when the compressor comes on it's not raising the idle. -
Yes, that's the company I was thinking. Spice roads tours

I remember seeing a YouTube video of a guy named Joel who is an avid cyclist that did a tour with a company. I'll try to find it and post the name, but the one he went on was long. like 100km I believe but they also had a shorter version at 60km

Same here but my electric and water are higher, if not for wife spending money I could maybe do on 20,000 but as you said I don't care to live that frugal, usually close to 40,000 for me but some of that is budgeted for other possible expenses such as medical or home or car repairs.

Cherry bike on 118 just down from Central Festival mall is where I bought mine. One of my friends use Chaitawat.

If you are using a VPN you might have better luck signing in if you turn it off. I have trouble logging in until I turn off the VPN, then usually no problem. I use Lazada mostly.

What happens when you get a jury duty summons in the mail?
Tedly replied to Khyron's topic in General Topics
I'm in Chiang Mai and use my father's address in PA as I don't have any kids to use theirs. He told me I got a jury duty notice a while back. He (and I) did nothing about it, the date came and went and never heard anything about it. -
I'll have to try that, thanks!
