What do you mean by a bag drop service?
Do you want to purchase groceries or clothes from different shops in a mall and then collect them from one place?
Do you want to leave your luggage and have it transported to the Airport?

There have to be a minimum of seven shareholders but only one has a voting share.... You know who!
The minimum number of shareholders is three.
All shareholders will have the ability to vote at an AGM or EGM, but in some circumstances a shareholder with preference shares can out vote all other shareholders and thus carry any resolution.

When you went to the police station to get a police report re theft of your passport how come the police didn't take action for overstay?
A police report is a very simple affair done at a desk at the front of the station. Nobody checks your ID or status.

There is no risk. The British Embassy has no knowledge of your immigration status in Thailand. Thsi immigration does not tell the British Embassy if you do or do not have an extension if stay.
Further, British citizens do not go to the Embassy to obtain a passport. Instead they go to a third party provider called VFS at an office block in Bangkok.

You do not go to the British Embassy for a new passport. Applications are done at the Trendy Building on Sukhumvit 13 in Bangkok. Lots of info on the forum about this.

Your first steps are:
- Obtain a police report for your lost passport
- Go to your embassy and get a new passport issued
Whatever happens you will need a new passport, unless you intend to hide in Thailand on overstay forever without being detected. Get your passport sorted out first.

Unless she's planning to stay longer than 30 days there is no advantage in using a Thai passport.
One advantage is she can use the Thai immigration queue when she enters the country, and there is a reasonable chance you can use the same queue with her if you are married. The Thai queue is normally small as most Thai people use the auto gates when entering the country. That might be useful to you, or it might not matter at all.
There is no downside. A passport costs 1,000 baht plus the EMS postage cost if you prefer to have it posted to you. The passport lasts 5 years.

You can't auction it yourself, as auctioning is a job that is reserved for Thai nationals only. What part of the country is the property in?
You will find that if you reduce the price by 10 per cent each week you will soon sell it. Property that is priced attractively soon sells.

Is the Denmark still going?
It was about 4 years ago. I tend to go The Street cafe on Magdalen Street when I'm in Norwich now.
We should do a breakfast collaboration ????

What part of Bangkok?
Rather than a babysitter, perhaps you could look at a playgroup/nursery that would be willing to take him short term.

I've been meaning to do a "Bangkok breakfast review" and this might spur me on!
Yes please, that would be greatly appreciated by myself and I am sure many others. It would go very well in the International Food forum.
If you really want to go for it, the fryup inspector has some great examples of how to write a good quality review.
If you're intetested, PM me.

lifetime Thai License
Yes. The coloured bar at the top of the license is red. They are not issued anymore, so they are slowly dying out.

You need either a 5 year or a lifetime Thai license.
Take your Thai license to the Department of Land Transport along with your passport, a photocopy and two photos and ask them if it's enough.
Some may want a copy of your work permit or residency certificate aswell.

I have edited the OP for clarity and I have removed various posts. Let's try and get this thread back on track and discussing construction costs.

The Department of Land Transport are the issuing body in Thailand for international drivers licenses.
They will only issue an international drivers license to holders of a Thai 5 year or Thai lifetime license.

There are fairly set prices for the construction of properties per square meter.
The quality of internal finishing, kitchens and bathrooms can vary the final price considerably.
There are quite a few threads showing what members have built and the associated costs.

I think you need to read that document. It says signed at the British Embassy Rangoon.
If that is correct, why are you trying to make an appointment at an Embassy in Thailand?

Give Pallies a try. They can be quite flexible. They do half days, so that will give you enough time to travel to Thong Lor, where they are based.
