Basic Citibank savings or checking account allows you to make wire transfers online for $30...
https://online.citibank.com/US/JRS/pands/detail.do?ID=WireTransfers
Between this and Pib's AEON ATM method you would be covered...

This is a standard first line response from any tech support person (worldwide)...
I have a timer that shuts my router down every night from 2 to 3am... I also have all of my perminate devices (TV, printer, thermostat.. etc) setup with static IP addresses... This seems to solve alot of issues ;-)

There is no 'maximum possible validity of 60 days. What is the case is that 60 days will be added whenever the card is used.
The prepaid or top-up NET SIM 3G+ Baht 399 package is a new service that will never expire because a 60-day extension will be added whenever there is usage. This can be in the form of outgoing calls, connecting to the Internet, sending short messages, or topping up. There will always be continuous validity.
So you think that means that if you make 10 outgoing phone calls you will get 600 days of validity added?...
I think what it means it that any use resets the validity to 60 days... If you read the prevoius posts - people refer to achieving a 1 year validity - I just want to know if this is possble and how?

I think the Pizza Company makes a mold-free outdoor shade... But I don't think they roll up ;-)

Are you asking specifically about TrueMove H?Does anyone know a confirmed way to entend the validity more than 60 days?
Each service provider offers a huge array of SIMs, all with varying terms and conditions, and some do have options for purchasing extended validity, so it can be very challenging to determine the options for each/every provider/SIM.
Do you happen to know any detail re: your SIM?
I guess I might contact the service provider to determine my options re: extending validity.
I was referring to the Truemove H 3G Prepaid card the original OP stated... I went to their website and can only find a maximum possible validity of 60 days but two of the subsequent posters allude to longer possible validity methods - I was hoping they could elaborate...

I would recommend that you settle on a condo complex that you like and try one season as a renter there... This gives you a first hand review of the rental process, vacancy, building maintenance, and will give you a true feel for the building and its convenience and qualities as a long term investment. In that season you will most likely meet a fellow owners who are wanting to sell their unit - which you can buy without the cost of an agent (But do the transaction thru a lawyer and make sure the wire transfer/foreign ownership is documented)...
Remember buying is a lightning fast process - but selling is not so fast...
Good luck

I gave up on the True wifi a while back... They set my iPhone to auto connect when it found a hotspot close... But this unusually resulted in no Internet connection... I went back to the True store and made them turn off this "feature"...
I should add that I borrowed a friends AIS wifi password and used it on my iPad at Starbucks... Ever since it logs in perfect every time I go back to the coffee shop! ;-))

Calling customs officers corrupt while (apparently) breaking laws and cheating the people of Thailand out of tax revenue, that’s classy.
Apparently he did not actually break the law... Just contemplated the potential savings...

Right before Doi Saket top up you gas tank

I have stayed at Rachamankha and found it a bit boring... The rooms have no windows and the whole place is a bit heavy and stark like a temple... Their sister hotel Tamarind Village http://www.tamarindvillage.com/photo-gallery.php has a more inspiring feel and nice grounds and lots of places to eat & enjoy nearby...
Also The Rim Chiang Mai is nice but a bit overdone http://www.therimchiangmai.com/
The Chedi is nice too with a beautiful restaurant on the river - Do the afternoon high tea...

I would love to see a couple Thai classically trained dancers line dance!!!
Seems like you could get in with the Thai country western scene and start a whole new jomra!...

Your penchant for hanging out in ladyboy areas could be considered a pre existing condition...

If the OP is looking for a local Thai vocalist I would recommend posting an ad in Citylife... Here you just find foreigner shut ins and singers who have gone underground after immigration hauled a few of them off for singing in a bar...
