Curious?... If you were to buy a one year sim card from Lazada (Say the True one listed above) - Once received how do you activate it?... Do you need go to True Office and have them activate or can the whole activation process be done by yourself?

A second issue if your friend is going to use the Government SS system... Research the HIV meds they want to prescribe... They may prescribe the cheaper older drugs - Some of which have a long term side effect of facial/body wasting... Be firm and ask for the newer drugs such as generic Atripla...

Medicine can be easily sourced at the Bangkok Red Cross... With a doctors prescription one can buy a six month supply of meds from them...

One can get generic versions for less than 1,000 baht for a months supply...

The above is just an example... One can easily get a prescription much cheaper than the Bumrugrad example... If your friend is seeing a doctor in Spain/UK he can also ask them for a written prescription which the Bangkok Red Cross will also honor...

Don’t let some of the old foggies put you off... Nothing wrong with having a hot shag with a LB (As have described)... The problem was the unforced error you made of not keeping yourself covered... And I would also add that drunkly picking someone (anyone) up on the street late at night can have a high probability of grief...

You have taken the right steps and are most likely going to be fine... Don’t let this put you off LBs if that’s your thing... Try meeting one without alcohol there are plenty of them outside the bars and dark streets... ?

And you or anyone else who has read this thread should take away from this is that alcohol and romance are potentially dangerous - If you must mix them carry a few of your favorite comdoms and look into Prep as a second but not 100% line of defense that is easily sourced and cheap here...
