If I renew my passport before the extension date  should I go to Immigration before the extension renewal  and ask them to move the previous extention into the new passport or can I just give them the old and new passports when I do the 1 year extension renewal?

Good questions!... My Thai partner and I are joint owner of a condo in Bangkok... I never thought what would happen to the foreign designation if I were to die?... 

You might want to put it in both your names... This would need to be a Foreign purchase (all funds coming from abroad)... but this would give you a foreign quota unit which I think would be easier to sell as Few Thais would buy a old condo... 

I will need to go Immigration for my annual extention of stay stamp... On that date my passport will have an expiration date in 10 months... Will they give me a 1 year extension of stay? Or should I get a new passport before I go for the extension?

When going to Immigration to request the transfer of the extension stamp does one need a letter from one own county embassy?

Also do they just transfer the extension of stay stamp?... What happens to the original visa that the extension of stay stamp is based on?... does it also get transferred?

What Immigration form is used to request the transfer?

Sorry I did not mean do a new official survey of the land... I meant asking a guy from the Land Office who has a few metals on his breast pocket come out to the site and point his finger around where you could get a truck in and chat up the neighbor... In a small community this can be done with some gentle prodding by a distraught Thai wife and maybe some high proof gift of some kind...

In our mobaan the houses have a wall that is made of a box like frame made from the grid like rebar they lay into concrete driveways... then they have added the green plastic mesh you find at kamtiem to the back bottom two feet that restricts animals from entering... them they planted hedges inside the rebar box... the hedges fill out the box an grow to about 2 meters... 

Given the huge oversupply of both condos and houses in all parts of Chiang Mai if I were presented with any agreement that had a rent increase built in I would grin and walk away...

And if my present landlord suggested a rent increase after my lease in up I would agree and give them 90 days notice and move nearby to an even cheaper and newer house... 

That’s a bit too redneck of a McGyver... Did the fan come in a box?... You could cut a circle in one side for the fan and a square on the other side for the filter... with the fan still in the box... Then decoupage the whole thing with your old 90 Day reports.,.

Both of them have the same 3hr limit... Hut once you program it similar to what I posted above the limit goes away...

I have the Xaiomi’s and yes the 3 hour switch to auto mode (A mode that is useless in low pollution areas) is a pain - I assume it is there to meet some sort of energy standard... but the app can be used to set automation rules to reset it back to the high fan mode basically turning the auto mode off and favorite mode on every 2.5 hours...
