  1. The Brits deserve all the disrespect with such stupid actions! Here in Hua Hin, these guys compete with crazy Thai drivers for the stupidest things on the streets!
  2. Don't talk nonsense. I've lived in Thailand for 10 years and have several bank accounts! If you want to post, then get up to date on the subject matter. Banks abroad must obtain your residence permit and your tax number: However, this requires government approval... Banks are not above the law! You seem to be a joker who takes the many chatters in the AN forum about the taxation of foreigners seriously. Everything here is based mainly on assumptions and ignorance! I've never been asked for a TIN for any transaction! So I'm waiting for the Thai tax legislation to be passed...and that will take time!
  3. Of course, Pre-existing illnesses are covered, they cheat you anyway, billing you at an unreasonable fantasy amount, which has no limits, since the companies are not really interested in such customers😁
  4. This TIN topic hasn't even been passed by the Thai parliament yet, and some people keep making a big deal out of it! Which retired Foreigner here has actually ever needed this TIN? I don't know a single one!
  5. Fools never understand that in Thailand it's about saving face, not about the amount of money!
  6. What a ridiculous Christmas obsession Westerners have! I'm not religious and I'm just amused by the stress some people put themselves through in December!
  7. No Problem, send it to me , I will fix it for around 5k Baht🤪
  8. What? You don't have a valid passport from your home country, or what?
  9. Koh Samui seems to be a popular Hideaway for the Frogs...........
  10. "...They are often 3 on a bike...." You probably mean Thais🤫
  11. Don't sit too long with your drinking buddies in the bar
  12. Send them back to Kuwait to pick dates
  13. Unfortunately, Foodpanda, my food delivery service, is no longer available after I canceled the lousy Grab service! The lineman is also good now! Good navigators, unlike Grab, where anyone who can ride a motorcycle can work! Customer service and manners are absent from most. Note! This is my opinion based on my experiences!
  14. Is it any wonder? The media, especially TV, is ranting against everything Cambodian! Disgusting Thai racism!
  15. Why aren't political statements banned in the Premier League? It's about football, sport in the broader sense, but figures like King Power's CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha are apparently unable to see the bigger picture with their black-and-white perspective! To even call it "truth from Thailand" from the perspective of a politically one-eyed person...disgusting!
  16. Who is Jatuporn Prompan!? A failed soap actor, Red Shirt propagandist, and former protégé of Thaksin Sinawatra, who stopped his monthly paycheck. A good-for-nothing who now seeks publicity with his ignorance and, when it suits him, becomes a warhorse. An embarrassing cretin!
  17. Thais 3,7"....Cambodians 3,9"......well, that hurts😭
  18. And this dual pricing scheme continues. I hope this will be introduced for Thais in other countries as well: locals 20 baht/ Thais 100 baht! Fair
  19. The best to do in Roi Et is to book a flight to BKK
  20. The topic should be more complete: Why long-term expats in Thailand say insurance is worth every baht, sponsored by Cigna 😉
