  1. Yes, Dark Brandon is plotting the minutia of fashion magazine covers - do people really buy magazines anymore. Very sinister. George Soros is said to be involved as well. Also could be a symptom of the Woke Mind Virus, which is evidently a thing now, at least with the rightwing nut jobs. Florida Man says the dumbest stuff
  2. Dormouse? Maybe? And it said "feed your head", according to Ms. Slick. Maybe from Columbia? https://www.icmag.com/threads/chiba.281327/
  3. Have they though? This very thread starts off with a "less than clear" potential outcome. Any "message" seems to be "When we get around to doing something we'll try to make it as easy on folks as we can. For now, don't worry, and carry on growing, selling (as licensed), and consuming for personal use." I'm not the only one here doing some "wishful thinking"?
  4. On-line sales were banned by edict from the MoPH on/about 12 Nov 2022. Yes, we all know that this has only been enforced on the larger online platforms, only because those companies don't want to run afoul of the changing environment. Again, there are rules and regulations. That they are not being enforced is neither a Cannabis problem or a "law" problem. Yes, we all agree that there need to be more regulations, restrictions, etc. I guess the police have taken a hands-off approach until they are directed to enforce existing regulations. The RTP still report to Caretaker PM Prayuth.
  5. Wow! You are onto something there. Very "suspicious" when the press reports information from "sources". What is this "journalism" thing? Scary I think, he says reaching for the Reynolds Wrap. And yeah, those 3 letter agencies, they were so squeaky clean back in the 50's, 60's, 70's. Heck, they've even tried to entrap BLM (Colorado) two years ago.
  6. Wishing republicans luck as they face Veterans at the Memorial Day Parades, who are not going to be happy about cuts in their benefits/health care. Veterans One of the first big bills coming due on June 1 — according to an analysis by the Bipartisan Policy Center — is $12 billion in veterans benefits. If there's not enough money on hand to pay those benefits, people who've already sacrificed a lot for their country will be forced to sacrifice even more. https://www.npr.org/2023/05/22/1177169711/debt-ceiling-limit-default-veterans-social-security-government-benefits republicans seem to love work requirements for benefits. Maybe they can ask Vets to re-enlist/re-deploy? And I'm sure many here hope their government benefits continue to flow.
  7. No huge problem with this as long as they weed out the sexual predators. Full List of Texas Pastors Charged With Abusing Children This Year https://www.newsweek.com/full-list-texas-pastors-charged-abusing-children-1765910
  8. This is your opinion? Or are you privy to the "hit list"?
  9. Reports in the press say meth prices per tab are down to 2 baht each, from 300 baht a few years ago. That said, I'm not sure price per dosage is something relevant when comparing with Cannabis. They are completely different markets.
  10. AFAIK, Cannabis is only currently approved in Thailand for treatment for the following: 1. Nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy 2. Epilepsy that is difficult to treat 3. Spasticity in patients with multiple sclerosis. 4. Neuropathic pain 5. Anorexia in underweight patients with AIDS, 6. Improving quality of life in patients receiving palliative care or end-of-life patients May be beneficial for conditions including generalized anxiety disorder, Parkinson disease, Alzheimer disease, and demyelinating disease Might be beneficial for cancer treatment, but more information and research are needed
  11. That's an "enforcement" issue, not a Cannabis issue. So you propose additional taxes, over and above 7% VAT. I actually agree with that. I've proposed 5%, for a total of 12%.
  12. Advertising is currently banned by edict from the MoPH. AFAIK, VAT must be paid at the retail POS.
  13. They'll also have to figure out what to do about all the folks who registered for small, home grows. As of 7:00 AM. on Monday, June 13th, the FDA reported statistics on the usage of the application that the total number of registrations has reached 735,932 names. About 713,544 cannabis registration certificates were issued and 22,388 were for hemp certificates. A total of 35,7511,572 system logins were reported so far. Obviously not all those who registered are growing but it does need to be addressed in any changes.
  14. It's one of many "options". I don't think there is a "plan" as of today. There isn't even a Government yet, let alone a cabinet, let alone the opening of a Parliamentary session. A Cannabis Control Act did pass the first reading OVERWHELMINGLY last year. That might be a good place to start with legislation? 373 MPs voted in support of the bill, with 7 against. 23 MPs abstained. There are several options. Re-listing Cannabis Flower as a Narcotic is a long-shot, ~ 5 % chance. Medical only (probably not available to resident foreigners or tourists), control ceded to DTAM. Personal use (called "free use" in the Thai Cannabis vernacular), with very strict controls, tracking seed to shelf and sale and limited retail outlets. The MVF message seems to be "Look, this isn't a major issue for our government. There are many, many, many larger issues which need to be addressed. We'll sort the Cannabis issue and we'll consider the ramifications on existing producers and sellers so as to minimize the negative effects on them."
  15. Just getting ready for The Trump Presidential Library, working out the kinks circulating books and documents out to "Club" members, then back on the "shelves". I still don't get his odd predilection for these documents? Why steal them in the first place? Did he get pleasure from showing them to "friends"? And Evan Corcoran, damn you for taking such copious and detailed notes.
  16. So where did the emergency slide land? Good thing it didn't get tangled into the rudder. I thought these doors couldn't be opened in flight, but I guess at 700 feet they can? Amazing that the person who opened it didn't fall/jump.
  17. OK, I'm confused. Is Trump a "January 6 Defendant"? Sure he planned and instigated the riot, but I don't think he's the target of an investigation into the assualt on the Capitol? Or does Ron from Florida know something we don't?
  18. Pretty sure he meant Tim Scott-R-SC who announced a run for President. He is the other 'bachelor' Senator from South Carolina. He has a huge unspent war chest leftover from his recent Senate reelection.
  19. I think that poster was essentially telling you/us to "Shut up and dribble". ???? I guess we should stop being "bitter and abusive" towards the Florida Man? Hi I'm Ron from the Navy JAG and I'm here to supervise you're forced feeding, not torture.
  20. Four shirts per day, a seven day trial, so twenty-eight shirts packed. By then he may be up to five shirts at a pop?
  21. Target adjacent...The Onion's take: Target Removes All Towels From Stores After Soaking-Wet Lunatic Objects To Dryness Bowing to the demands of the pro-moist movement, Target reportedly removed all towels from stores Thursday... https://www.theonion.com/target-removes-all-towels-from-stores-after-soaking-wet-1850476070
  22. Maybe train first, then arm? But yeah, this is an idea we've heard before. Nobody will give the lunch lady any grief, cuz she's packin' And maybe don't arm the janitor. He's a little bit loopy. Why not just arm all the children?
  23. There is no export market for THC products. Hemp and CBD, yeah, sure, maybe. Tough competition. The domestic medical market is microscopic, and could be supplied by one or two of the larger farms already in operation. Foreigners (resident) may not be able to get a medical card, and tourists most certainly could not. Farmers should be anxious. Yes I know large companies like Canna OG have made a significant investment, and have said they can pivot to a medical-only model. But without understanding the rules/regulations/laws which might govern that market, it may be too early to predict :"success". Thai cannabis sector spooked as election winner mulls reversing legalisation https://www.reuters.com/article/thailand-election-cannabis/thai-cannabis-sector-spooked-as-election-winner-mulls-reversing-legalisation-idINL4N37L1G3 After election, Thai cannabis ready to roll with the changes https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/after-election-thai-cannabis-ready-to-roll-with-the-changes/
  24. The current anti-American rhetoric is being driven by two factors: Pita Limjaroenrat attended KSG/Harvard and Sloane/MIT. MVF advocates for reforms of the Institution. Ergo, Royalists, who garnered what, a paltry 150,000 votes via the Thai Pakdee party, view Pita as a U.S. backed lackey intent on toppling the Institution. The U.S. has been a strong supporter of the Monarchy over ~ 75 years. Hopefully this post is acceptable?
  25. By the time DeSantis spoke, only 70,000 "listeners" remained, for the audio-only (no graphics) "call". As Steve Schmidt quipped, "It was like AM radio, that didn't work." "Ron, from Florida, go ahead. Share your grievances." DeSantis should have launched his campaign aboard a Norfolk-Southern freight train and saved himself a step. Other politicians have used live streaming much, much more effectively, on working platforms.
