  1. The biggest issue with Justice Thomas', and his wife's, behavior is that the Framers assumed that SC Justices would be honest, noble and faithful to their oath. So they had no checks/balances (save the unlikely impeachment) on Supreme Court Justices. And now, of course, there is very little faith in the objectivity of SCOTUS. If Chief Justice Roberts had an ounce of integrity he would resign - this corruption, and the politicization of the court happened on his watch, and the same goes for Clarence Thomas.
  2. Uh-huh. Glean: obtain (information) from various sources, often with difficulty. Every article on this hack, including the one linked in the OP, mentioned the Mor Prom app/database. I found those with very little "gleaning". :rolleyes
  3. Could be. I signed up for my two GV numbers many years ago when I was in the U.S. and used existing mobile phone numbers for registration/verification procedures. I'd recommend asking a family member/friend to enroll in GV on your behalf.
  4. If, according to hard-line republicans, life begins at conception, and abortion is murder, why not just ban ALL abortions? And why not charge anyone remotely associated with an abortion with pre-meditated murder? Why is Gov. DeSantis and Florida going for a six week abortion limit? Are they condoning murder? Florida Senate passes 6-week abortion ban backed by DeSantis TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Senate on Monday approved a bill to ban abortions after six weeks, a measure supported by Gov. Ron DeSantis as the Republican prepares to launch his expected presidential candidacy. https://apnews.com/article/abortion-florida-desantis-election-637711bac2e45fd71ff9e3340fd95f3c
  5. More "hospitality"? Justice Thomas’s Wife Sets Up a Conservative Lobbying Shop Feb. 4, 2011 WASHINGTON The wife of Justice Clarence Thomas, who has raised her political profile in the last year through her outspoken conservative activism, is rebranding herself as a lobbyist and self-appointed “ambassador to the Tea Party movement.” An anonymous $500,000 donation to start up Liberty Central came from Harlan Crow, a Dallas real estate investor and Republican financier, Politico reported. Mr. Crow, reached by phone Friday, would not say whether he was the source of the money. “I disclose what I’m required by law to disclose,” he said, “and I don’t disclose what I’m not required to disclose.” https://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/05/us/politics/05thomas.html Inside the consulting firm run by Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, runs a little-known consulting company. Some campaign watchdog groups say it could create yet another conflict of interest for her husband. “It’s very problematic,” Richard Painter, chief White House ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush administration, told CNBC in a recent phone interview in response to Thomas’ private consulting work. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/05/inside-the-consulting-firm-run-by-ginni-thomas-wife-of-supreme-court-justice-clarence-thomas.html
  6. A court has lifted any restrictions on Chuwit attacking the BJT party, and their pro-cannabis stand.
  7. This has about the same chance of passing in the next Parliamentary session as the Cannabis Control Act.
  8. I think this was the Mor Prom app/database, so quite a bit of detail on vaccinated foreigners as well.
  9. Washington judge orders FDA to not suspend abortion pill approval A federal judge in Washington state on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to not roll back its approval of a widely used abortion drug, siding with a group of Democratic state attorneys general who challenged dispensing restrictions. Driving the news: The decision directly conflicted with another federal judge's ruling at almost the same time that put the FDA's approval of the drug, mifepristone, in jeopardy nationwide. The developments left the agency in an unusual legal bind and increased the odds that the matter will be considered by the Supreme Court. https://www.axios.com/2023/04/08/washington-judge-abortion-pills-texas Great, again an unchecked SCOTUS gets to tell the FDA how to approve drugs for safe use. Republicans are so far out over their skis and out of touch with the population they will become irrelavant.
  10. Taibi didn't seem ready, or committed, to be Elon's tool.
  11. Skin color seems to be the primary issue, in the case of the Tennessee legislature, given the reults of the explusion votes.
  12. I think that it is good that Tennesseean Republicans are showing both their constituents and the whole nation what racism and facism looks like in real time. You have to face a problem before any healing can take place. And we're far, far, far from aknowledging the "original sin". So I say thank you to these Republicans, for showing us who you really are. “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time." Maya Angelou “The Arc of the Moral Universe is Long, But it Bends Toward Justice.” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (longer in Tennessee)
  13. I'm sure Chief Justice Roberts will conduct a full inquiry, as he did with the Dobb's leak, of Justice Thomas' dealings.
  14. It doesn't matter what I call it, and until details are published (never) I still contend that it is no more or less problematic than all of the giveaways the Prayut regime has handed out in six-ish years. 14.5 million people are currently on the dole. UTN (Prayuth) is also pushing more/increased welfaer payments. PPRP (Prawit) is pushing increased welfare stipends.
  15. He is not opposed to legal cannabis. If he were he would not rent out space in his Davis Hotel to a Cannabis Dispensary. He is opposed to the Chidchobs with whom he's had a running feud for decades. He also craves attention. Like most things here these feuds are more about family, clan, which part of China your ancestors came from, failed business dealings....
  16. And of course, the Notifications we receive. "Somebody" seems to react to evey single one of my posts. somebody reacted to a post in a topic Chuwit vows to continue his crusade against the Bhumjaithai Party and marijuana despite order I assume it's some "engagement" tactic (setting) meant to encourage participation.
  17. At least he "urged" and didn't "threaten".
  18. I think it comes in the form of a door, which you shouldn't let hit you as you leave.
  19. Actually, the Thai consitution "suggests" these are rights, but then also severely limits them, so no, he's wrong. And of course, in Thailand, some people have more rights than others, depending on where they are situated in the Thai social pyramid structure. As regards the rights and liberties of the Thai people, in addition to the rights and liberties as guaranteed specifically by the provisions of the Constitution, a person shall enjoy the rights and liberties to perform any act which is not prohibited or restricted by the Constitution or other laws, and shall be protected by the Constitution, insofar as the exercise of such rights or liberties does not affect or endanger the security of the State or public order or good morals, and does not violate the rights or liberties of other persons.
  20. The Prayut regime has had a digital welfare system in place since 2017. Currently some 14.5 million participate with monthly stipends in the 200 - 800 baht range. The Prayut regime has been handing out agricultural subsidies to farmers since 2017. Credit to government employees has been extended far beyond reasonable percentages, by banks and coops, under the Prayut regime. It's weird that academics, and other critics, all of a sudden think welfare is a bad thing when a populist party "suggests" this as a platform.
  21. I think it's an app. For those without a phone app vendors/lenders can facilitate. 15% - 30% VAT is supposed to be 10%, it's been "legislated" down to 7% "temporarily". Set to rise to 10% on 30 September 2023, but it will be suppressed again.
  22. You do realize that the current regime introduced a MASSIVE cashless welfare card program in 2017? And that it continues to this day with some 14 + million people (22 m tried to enroll in the most recent period), and 48 billion baht budgeted. Monthly stipends range from 200 - 300 baht with additional kickers of up to 500 baht. 24. Chuwit is a publicity seeking idiot, flaming out yet again in full view of the public. He is still trying to explain the 6 million baht "gift". https://aseannow.com/topic/1290738-mystery-฿6-million-to-be-traced-after-chuwit-outwits-detractors-again-by-calling-in-the-police/
  25. Can you share any more details? Any photos? This "burn" is deep inside the bud? How did it come to be "trapped"? Is this foliar or uptake? Do indoor growers use pesticides? And how does this "stand out"? Please share you expertise. Sorry but "trapped dirt"? Where? In a bud?
