Wow. Maybe for you, not for most I know. Could be down to where you grew up, resided before you arrived here. Again, your experience, not mine. As long as you weren't dealing, never feared from prosecution/persecution. "Affect"? How? Take your time Dr. scool. Cannabis Targets Receptors in the Amygdala Linked to Anxiety Marijuana may hijack cannabinoid receptors in the amygdala to reduce anxiety. https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/the-athletes-way/201403/cannabis-targets-receptors-in-the-amygdala-linked-anxiety Cannabinoid Modulation of Amygdala Reactivity to Social Signals of Threat in Humans The current findings fit well with the notion that THC and other cannabinoids may have an anxiolytic role in central mechanisms of fear behaviors and provide a rationale for exploring novel therapeutic strategies that target the cannabinoid system for disorders of anxiety and social fear. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2657360/ Perhaps it is YOU who has been smoking the "wrong stuff"?

Smoking Rooms were just banned last week, with the medical treatment exception. Now some groups want smoking rooms. Just treat public smoking of cannabis the same as you do for tobacco, shisha, vaping, etc. I have yet to smell cannabis in public, and I live nearly on top of an entertainment zone in Bangkok, with at least a dozen dispensaries within a 2 Km radius. Even then I'd welcome the smell of cannabis compared to the general rotting, fetid smell of Bangkok, cigarette smoke, vehicle exhaust. And who can forget burning season. Whenever people complain here about something the usual response is, "if you don't like it then leave". In this case, if you are offended simply file a police report as it is illegal to smoke cannabis in public if you are causing a public nuisance.

Thai PM says cabinet reshuffle before New Year
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Slow-moving Coup. Trade plum cabinet positions for support in the upcoming election. At least when those evil Shinawatra's supposedly bought votes, the commoners got a taste. The corruption is in plain sight, and folks like Prawit, Prayut and Wassanu blithely violate the Political Party Act. Meanwhile any large oppostion parties will be dissolved for violating some vague rule within the Act. -

Government Unveils Urgent Narcotics Action Plan
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Has ruled with absolute power for eight years, just now getting around to combating meth. His "Twenty-Year Plan" is back-end loaded apparently. Even small-time dealers are holding millions of pills. Police Seize 5.2 Million Meth Pills in Three Drug Busts In central Thailand, a couple suspected of being major drug traffickers in Ayutthaya were apprehended in Wang Noi district, with 3.7 million meth pills seized. https://www.chiangraitimes.com/news/police-seize-5-2-million-meth-pills/ "Warned". Ooh, sounds like he means "business". -
Airplane Linked To Arrested Chinese Grey Capitalist Seized
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Tail number recently changed from HS-PSL to HS-HAO, Hao being the mafia nickname of this chinese-thai gangster. Said to have been previously owned by "an influential politician from Nakhon Ratchasima". I think we know who that is, based on his well-known interest in flying, but cannot say for fear of retribution. “Chuwit” posted on Facebook to emphasize the position Moving forward to reveal the gray Chinese capital Mr. Chuvit said that the fear of this group of people showed a very high influence One of the evidence presented today is It’s a photo of a private jet. with information that it was bought second-hand from a large politician in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, the letters on the tail of the machine were changed from HS-PSL to HS-HAO -
Since they posted without comment diffcult to say. Maybe they had bad experiences? But sharing those personal exepriences would go farther than linking an odd video. Very broadly speaking people with mental health issues should NOT experiment with Cannabis UNLESS their health-care professional prescribes it. The source of the video, "Living Well with Schizophrenia", and that channel's host do not appear qualified to dispense medical advice. Eh.

It can be done here. Sowing seeds of unknown provenance obtained from crappy weed and hoping for the best may not be optimal. Get the best seeds/clones you can, use grow bags, use organic soil and organic nutes, pH water, check soil pH and dissolved solids (<deleted>). Experiment with some low stress training. Time your outdoor grow so you're in flower during dry season. And Thais are having a lot of success crossing Thai strains with western staivas and hybrids. Thai FB Cannabis group, posted within the last 24 hours. For that Xmas tree, light, airy, larfy buds are desirable as they reduce bud rot and mold.

^ Maybe it's the camera or the lighting but those plants look distressed. Nitrogen deficiency? Meanwhile in crappy Humboldt County...

Interesting video, but it certainly doesn't paint Thai cannabis in a good light. "People would just wrap junk on a stick" is what Mike Ritter calls "Thai stick". Ouch. Interesting that very little cannabis made it's way from Thailand to the U.S., with most product coming from Columbia and Mexico. Both countries are famous for pure sativa strains.

"Foremost" is a stretch. Yes, Thai landrace (ooh, I said "landrace", I sound very cool) was used to breed BETTER strains of cannabis. "The simple truth"? Not even close. On it's own Thai Landrace is marginally acceptable. I mean even Thais call it "dirtweed". You claim to be some sort of Thai Landrace Guru, and yet you're reluctant to post photos of the product you've purchased and reviewed, or the plants you are growing. Not everyone enjoys Sativas, finding them to be more paranoia-inducing. Some enjoy Indicas, and hybrids. Some enjoy the fragrance and taste of well-grown cannabis. I'd argue that Indica landraces are more important than Thai.

What an epic fail. Humboldt County on line 1 calling you to complain. Statements like this, and that one post is littered with a dozen or more unsubstantiated claims, and bat-sh*t crazy assertions. Yeah, right. First off, there is no such thing as "Thai Stick". Yes, Thai Sativas are interesting, unique and have been used to create hundreds of strains. But let's not go overboard. Jamaican Sativas are probably as good. The passive-aggressive arguments you use, to slag off everything but your methods does not go unnoticed. Look, you have your own unique ideas, but puhleeze do not make it seem like your way is the only way. Show us photos of your ~ 45 plants.

Thailand’s Health Minister Anutin defends Cannabis Bill in parliament
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
It's cute that people think that the PM is elected by the "Thai people". A PM candidate doesn't even have to be an MP. Assuming a non-RTA person could be (s)elected as PM, and that's a long-shot, Anutin has the best odds, maybe other than Paetongtarn. I read some of his comments in this Parliament appearance. Thought he did a good job of positioning the current status of cannabis legalization. BJT ran on Cannabis legalization as a main part of their platform, including recreational ("California Model"). Normally when politicians fulfill their promises we hail them. The process so far has not been as bad as opponennts like to highlight. A few minor bumps in ~ 5 months, with significant progress, and almost no major health/societal problems. I'd call it amazing. In my home state it took three years from ballot initiative to the first recreational dispensary opening. New York State did a bit better, March 2021 until just this week for the first licenses to be issued. Now if Democracy could be "legalized". -
Daily direct flights from Russia to U-Tapao airport begin this weekend
bamnutsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
I don't think these are daily flights. Novosibirsk is 2X weekly, SA WE. Operated with a B757. Not sure about Krasnoyarsk, can't find any future schedule other than today's flight. Could be a 1X weekly, operated with a B767. So maybe not a "significant increase" in Russian tourists? There are some flights from SVO, but not dailies AFAIK. 3X/4X weekly. B777. -
Agreed. Words, eleoquent or otherwise, are useless.

Incorrect. This sort of misinformation should be edited/removed. Buds are a "controlled herb", still legal to grow, sell, use under current controls, and potential future controls. "Controlled herb" is a new category. Only if you are smoking in public AND causing a nuisance. I have not seen a single report of such an arrest, or shake-down. Have you?

What is this "new grey catgeory"? The Police have been instructed to maintain a hands-off approach to cannabis "enforcement". I've not heard of any slippage on this front, and I think we would have heard about shake-downs. (Yes, I can see the sidewalk police shaking down cannabis carts, but that's not much of a "river".) When Anutin said "Let the law handle it" yesterday, I think he meant passing legislation.

Court Accepts Cannabis Lawsuit Against Anutin, ONCB
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Not exactly, there was a first reading which passed. The second reading has been stalled, by, as some contend, political maneuvering. No. There was "ruling" per se. Flowers have a new catgeory, "controlled herb". Cannabis flowers have NOT been added back on to the Narcotics List.
