  1. Ex-President trump had two + years to secure Mr. Whelan's release. He was arrested in 2018 during the trump presidency. For some reason trump never mentioned Whlean's name. Trevor Reed, another American Marine arrested in Russia in 2018, also during the trump presidency. His release was made earlier this year during the Biden Presidency, in a one-to-one prisoner swap for convicted drug dealer/pilot Vadim Krasikov. I suspect that Ms. Greiner, as a million dollar (per season) employee of UMMC Yekaterinburg since 2014, traveled to/from/within Russia hundreds of times. Amazing that she was never detained for cannabis vape carts in that time, as she was just days before the Ukraine invasion. Welcome home Brittney, and congrats to Biden, Blinken, et al for getting things done. putin wants Vadim Krasikov, a convicted murderer held in Germany, for Whelan. Can't see that happening.
  2. The police investigating the police. Yeah, that always works. You need an independent commsission of 5 - 7 individuals with no ties to the RTP, to get any real reforms. Otherwise just get a maid, a broom and a really large carpet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knapp_Commission The Knapp Commission Report on Police Corruption identified two particular classes of corrupt police officer, which it called "Grass Eaters" and "Meat Eaters". This classification refers to petty corruption under peer pressure ("eating grass") and aggressive premeditated major corruption ("eating meat").[4] The term "Grass Eaters" is used to describe police officers who "accept gratuities and solicit five, ten, twenty dollar payments from contractors, tow-truck operators, gamblers, and the like but do not pursue corruption payments". "Grass eating" is something that a significant number of officers are guilty of, but which they learned to do from other cops or from imitating the deviants they watch and investigate every day. The commission even concluded that "grass eating" was used by police officers in New York City to prove their loyalty to the brotherhood, and with that came incentives like side jobs. One method of preventing cops from becoming corrupt is to eliminate this step by removing veteran cops who do this; without any veteran cops to learn this from, new officers might decide to never "eat grass". "Meat Eaters" are officers who "spend a good deal of time aggressively looking for situations they can exploit for financial gain". An example of this is shaking down pimps and illicit drug dealers for money, not only for the material profit to the officers, but for the relief from guilt that the officers derive by convincing themselves that their victims deserve such treatment. They justify taking advantage of these kinds of criminals because they are considered the dregs of society.
  3. Yes, I did. Second big issue: Did everybody catch that OS listing at the top? Google supports Windows 11 with passkeys—not Windows 10—which is going to make this a tough sell. Statcounter has Windows 11 at 16 percent of the total Windows install base, with Windows 10 at 70 percent. So if you happen to make a passkey account, you could only log in on newer Windows computers.
  4. Did you use pay.gov? Can you describe that account creation process? Did you use this link? https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/42156675 So the net-net is that you still need to include a local Thai bank draft for 100 THB when you mail in your renewal? And if you get a passport card do you include a draft for 200 THB, or two separate drafts for 100 THB each?
  5. So they'll get these BEFORE the submarine.
  6. "Urged". Prayut issues many orders every day. Surely he can order the MPs/Senator to Parliament? Get the RTP/RTA/ISOC to round up these wayward legislators. Surely they are violating their oath of office, and several dozen other laws? I think most are simply bored, and choose to sleep at home rather than in Parliament? And they are waiting for the next "act" in this silly sequel of Thai-style Democracy.
  7. RIP Passwords? Passkey support rolls out to Chrome stable https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/12/rip-passwords-passkey-support-rolls-out-to-chrome-stable/ https://developers.google.com/identity/passkeys/supported-environments
  8. Nice deflection. I am not surprised there are illegal imports from Laos. Why ever did you go there? I am very anti-imports, especially from the U.S., mainly because I choose to support Thai growers. I have not purchased any imported cannabis, to the best of my knowledge (~ 99% certainty). OK, so no supplier details. And no photos. Got it. Interesting that you deflect (again) with such ease, and make photos out to be "silly", or "porn" related. How odd. And of course no photos of your 45 - 50 plant grow of Thai Sativa Landrace.
  9. I think that most people mean tincture when they ask about oil. That is it is something taken orally. Can you share any details on this "research programme"? I'm surprised they accepted foreigners - I've made that assumption - into such a programme? Or did you have to sign an NDA?
  10. Can you share any photos of these buds? And what does "dank" mean to you? At 7.5 baht/gram, hand-picked, trimmed and carefully packaged buds grown in Laos and transported here, I'm wondering who is making any money, and are you relying on identured labor for your dankness? Why support growers from outside of Thailand? And the illegal activity of importing cannbis into Thailand? Green Crack, also known as Green Carck on some sellers' page, is - I am 100% confident - simply a name any Schmoe can attach to a cannabis "product". The real Green Crack is a sativa-dominant (65/35) strain and is pretty darn good.
  11. Depends, but for the average portable dry-herb vaporizer ~ 0.05 grams. I get three solid hits (with two smaller ones on either side, you can fluff and re-hit, I don't, some save the remnants, brown not burnt, for further processing, I don't). Yes, you grind first. Portable, discreet, quick-use, no torch/flame required, clean taste, smell, high. I use 190 C. There is a thread here on these. Now widely available here on line.
  12. Somewhat related...in the U.S. it is rumored that the Senate may vote on the SAFE Act during their lame duck session. The SAFE Banking Act, which allows cannabis businesses in states where it is legal to open bank accounts and get loans, has already passed the House six times. https://www.axios.com/2022/12/03/senate-marijuana-legislation-chuck-schumer This would be another step in the directon of Federal legaliztion of cannabis in the U.S.
  13. While it is correct that smoking cannabis within a dispensary or shop was deemed illegal a few weeks ago, with the medical treatment exception, it does appear as though there may be a hack. Tourists puff and pass with buds at Khaosan’s new cannabis complex Plantopia management has found a way to avoid the big fines and jail time threatened for dispensaries which allow smoking on the premises by building a designated smoking lounge equipped with a ventilation system for people to light up. https://coconuts.co/bangkok/features/tourists-puff-and-pass-with-buds-at-khaosans-new-cannabis-complex/ Whether these continue to be allowed remains to be seen. If they do then one could expect this "alternative" - a ventilated space unassociated with a sepcific dispensary, and acceptable tot he "authorities" - to expand to/within other entertainment and tourist areas.
  14. They just love abusing their young people. And they love their hazing rituals. Just a few weeks ago they roasted ~ 1,000 school students in Surin in 39 C heat to try for a Guiness Record.
  15. Sounds like a bit of a "long-haul" experiment? The flight will be operated four times per week, with one flight departing YVR every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The journey will take an estimated 16 hours. The service is a seasonal offering and is scheduled to terminate in April. And that AC could get a landing slot/ground service at SBIA - I do not believe they flew their own metal to THL previously. relying on code-shares - and that they could not get one at SIN, a far more lucrative market. Unless you live in Vancouver you're looking at one-stop service anyway, so a bit a higher-priced novelty. I flew BKK-JFK direct, non-stop on TG (A340-500) back in the day, and it was long, even in J (not lie-flat). Might have been ~ 17 hours all in? I think there was a "morgue" on the aircraft, just in case.
  16. Kush in your tush. No. You are not "right". Growing, buying/selling, consuming cannabis flowers remains legal. Extracting oils from cannabis flowers is probably illegal, but I doubt anyone will care what you're doing in your laboratory. Maybe continue your research, and exerpimentation, to determine which strains suit your requirements. What strains are others using for FECO suppositories? And maybe purchase some flowers while you are growing your plants, for medicinal experimentation. It will take you ~ 6 months to get suitable biomass even if you start today. Sourcing seeds is the easy part, widely available here legally - people also buy online from off-shore seed suppliers. Growing cannabis, especially outdoors here, is far more challenging than maybe you've been led to believe.
  17. I've enabled 2FA on pretty much every account. For Google I enabled it a few years before it became mandatory. I recently disabled 2FA on Twitter (SMS) because some advise that if/when that system breaks or is curtailed you wouldn't be able to log in. 2FA on Google is really simple and hardly onerous. The offer quite a few options, I use my phone or FIDO key. Google is doing this to essentially protect customers, and they've reduced hacks by significant numbers. Consumers are free to decide to use other services if they find Google's 2FA too "authortarian". In the painfully excruciating style of the OP (moved to Ignore), you're Free to Decide... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7SO67RydKc
  18. This is a bit like the Major Cinema 199 baht bottomless popcorn promotion.
  19. This isn't the first time with quorum issues in Parliament. I think there is some fatigue with parties and members who've lost interest in legislating, and there might be ~ 50 members who've passed away, or been charged with criminal activity, who have not been replaced. There must be Parliamentary rules which could be applied to enforce a quorum but again that takes character and backbone, qualities pretty much unheard of in Thailand generally, and Thai government specifically. They'll muddle along - although there are some "controlling" issues which pending legislation - left until the last minute - are meant to address before a potentially lengthy quiet period while the rulers fix another election.
  20. Given 40 m total tourists 2019, and 40% from China that means the need 12.8 m from China to hit 80%. Can't see that happening. Think they'll be lucky to hit 25 m total in 2023. There is still limited scheduled airlift capacity, and very limited charter capacity.
  21. It took her three weeks to come with the "Exit Visa fee".
  22. I visited Imm/CW THU 24/11 ~ 13:00 in order to get two CORs for DLs renewal. Imm. was absolutely heaving, I have never seen it so busy, perhaps as result of having been closed the previous week for three days. Anyway, after what seemed like 500 people queued from the morning session filed in I made my way to the COR/document check counter. My documents were checked, re-ordered, stapled and I was given number B1-48, which was immediately called. Processing took ~ 5 minutes and I was given the EMS tracking number. The CORs arrived in one envelope today, Bangkok 10110. So 7/8 days.
  23. I could be wrong but on-line advertising, promotion and fulfillment was restricted last week when Cannabis Flowers were deemed to be a "controlled herb". 6) Do not sell controlled herbs. or products processed from controlled herbs for trade Via automatic vending machines (Vending Machine) through electronic channels or computer networks 7) Advertising of controlled herbs is prohibited in all commercial channels. Yes, much advertising remains. I follow dozens of growers/sellers on Messenger, LINE, IG, FB and see dozens of new "sponsored" links weekly. Maybe Lazada and Shopee are trying to abide with this new "rule" for fear of having their vast, core businesses legally encumbered by some gadfly filing a court complaint? Also, there are a lot of quick-hit scammers on these platforms and the operators are quick to remove these.
  24. Hopefully his snake collection has been confiscated.
