  1. By that you mean wet weight, right. Dried and cured maybe a ~ 5 grams? This guy crushed it, https://growdiaries.com/diaries/129755-grow-journal-by-hydro-hiebs
  2. ^ Maybe it's the camera or the lighting but those plants look distressed. Nitrogen deficiency? Meanwhile in crappy Humboldt County...
  3. Interesting video, but it certainly doesn't paint Thai cannabis in a good light. "People would just wrap junk on a stick" is what Mike Ritter calls "Thai stick". Ouch. Interesting that very little cannabis made it's way from Thailand to the U.S., with most product coming from Columbia and Mexico. Both countries are famous for pure sativa strains.
  4. Ganja Daily on FB has some options. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083266994635 There may be others, once you've primed the FB algo you'll get more options.
  5. "Foremost" is a stretch. Yes, Thai landrace (ooh, I said "landrace", I sound very cool) was used to breed BETTER strains of cannabis. "The simple truth"? Not even close. On it's own Thai Landrace is marginally acceptable. I mean even Thais call it "dirtweed". You claim to be some sort of Thai Landrace Guru, and yet you're reluctant to post photos of the product you've purchased and reviewed, or the plants you are growing. Not everyone enjoys Sativas, finding them to be more paranoia-inducing. Some enjoy Indicas, and hybrids. Some enjoy the fragrance and taste of well-grown cannabis. I'd argue that Indica landraces are more important than Thai.
  6. What an epic fail. Humboldt County on line 1 calling you to complain. Statements like this, and that one post is littered with a dozen or more unsubstantiated claims, and bat-sh*t crazy assertions. Yeah, right. First off, there is no such thing as "Thai Stick". Yes, Thai Sativas are interesting, unique and have been used to create hundreds of strains. But let's not go overboard. Jamaican Sativas are probably as good. The passive-aggressive arguments you use, to slag off everything but your methods does not go unnoticed. Look, you have your own unique ideas, but puhleeze do not make it seem like your way is the only way. Show us photos of your ~ 45 plants.
  7. And without spare parts or service available from Boeing. https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/boeing-suspends-parts-maintenance-support-russian-airlines-2022-03-02/
  8. It's cute that people think that the PM is elected by the "Thai people". A PM candidate doesn't even have to be an MP. Assuming a non-RTA person could be (s)elected as PM, and that's a long-shot, Anutin has the best odds, maybe other than Paetongtarn. I read some of his comments in this Parliament appearance. Thought he did a good job of positioning the current status of cannabis legalization. BJT ran on Cannabis legalization as a main part of their platform, including recreational ("California Model"). Normally when politicians fulfill their promises we hail them. The process so far has not been as bad as opponennts like to highlight. A few minor bumps in ~ 5 months, with significant progress, and almost no major health/societal problems. I'd call it amazing. In my home state it took three years from ballot initiative to the first recreational dispensary opening. New York State did a bit better, March 2021 until just this week for the first licenses to be issued. Now if Democracy could be "legalized".
  9. I don't think these are daily flights. Novosibirsk is 2X weekly, SA WE. Operated with a B757. Not sure about Krasnoyarsk, can't find any future schedule other than today's flight. Could be a 1X weekly, operated with a B767. So maybe not a "significant increase" in Russian tourists? There are some flights from SVO, but not dailies AFAIK. 3X/4X weekly. B777.
  10. Agreed. Words, eleoquent or otherwise, are useless.
  11. Yeah, other than classifying Cannabis Flowers as a "Controlled Herb" - a new category - with no new controls. Not much to see here. Carry on. Google Translation of new order gazetted yesterday.... The wait is over! Announcement of the Ministry of Public Health to provide bouquets of marijuana flowers It is a controlled herb and has been published in the Government Gazette. Do not sell to children, pregnant women, students. Do not advertise for commercial purposes. It is forbidden to sell for smoking in the establishment. Do not sell through vending machines. On November 23, 2022, reporters reported that at the Royal Gazette website has published the announcement of the Ministry of Public Health on controlled herbs (marijuana) B.E. Whereas it is expedient to revise the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health on Controlled Herbs (Marijuana) B.E. 2565 dated 16 June 2022 that has declared marijuana as a controlled herb valuable for study or research. or economically important to suit the current situation In addition, there has been a change in the regulatory system. Category 5 narcotic marijuana is a controlled herb during that transition. Only the inflorescence portion of cannabis should be controlled to prevent misuse of the purposes of protection and promotion of herbal utilization. By virtue of Section 4 paragraph one, Section 44 and Section 45 (4), (5) and (6) of the Protection and Promotion of Thai Traditional Medicine Wisdom Act, B.E. 2542 (1999), the Minister of Public Health With the advice of the Committee on the Protection and Promotion of Traditional Thai Medicine Wisdom at its meeting No. 99-4/2022, the following announcement was issued. 12. Incorrect. This sort of misinformation should be edited/removed. Buds are a "controlled herb", still legal to grow, sell, use under current controls, and potential future controls. "Controlled herb" is a new category. Only if you are smoking in public AND causing a nuisance. I have not seen a single report of such an arrest, or shake-down. Have you?
  13. What is this "new grey catgeory"? The Police have been instructed to maintain a hands-off approach to cannabis "enforcement". I've not heard of any slippage on this front, and I think we would have heard about shake-downs. (Yes, I can see the sidewalk police shaking down cannabis carts, but that's not much of a "river".) When Anutin said "Let the law handle it" yesterday, I think he meant passing legislation.
  14. Not exactly, there was a first reading which passed. The second reading has been stalled, by, as some contend, political maneuvering. No. There was "ruling" per se. Flowers have a new catgeory, "controlled herb". Cannabis flowers have NOT been added back on to the Narcotics List.
  15. I think that he meant more than sales hours, but I could be wrong. Production checks, licensing, age verification systems, tax. But I do not infer that cannabis will be regulated EXACTLY like alcohol, more like similarly regulated. Assuming those hours are not changed/eliminated - something mentioned as a legislative possibility - then yes, I could see cannabis shops sales hours being limited. Most don't open much before noon anyway.
  16. The "plant" is 100% legal. Flower is now a "controlled herb". I'm not sure there are any other "controlled herbs", so this is new ground? Some "controls" are defined now, more will be either with edicts or legislation or both. Extracts of the plant (flower, obviously) greater than 0.2 % THC are illegal. That includes shatter, budder, crumble, (vape) oil, hash (possibly), live resin, wax, distillate, isolate, crystalline, terp sap, RSO. Many of these variants are sold here, imported, although there are some home-made vape oil carts.
  17. I think that this remains the current "law of the land"? Edibles and extracts over 0.2% THC are illegal. Basically anything with more than 0.2% content by weight, other than FLOWER, is ILLEGAL.
  18. Like so many things here, they are "not illegal" until they are. I think shortly after 9 June 2022 date when Cannabis was "legalized", further restrictions were added to public cannabis use... (this was when they added the 20 YO/pregnant women restrictions)... The notification made clear that anyone smoking cannabis and hemp in public for recreational purposes still faces legal consequences of imprisonment of up to three months or a fine of up to 25,000 baht if they cause a public nuisance or pose health hazards to others. https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/40016662 So someone in the hotel could complain, resulting in a call to the police. I have not heard of such an incident, yet. Simply inquire at the hotel. Some have smoking rooms, but the majority of hotels here (~ 75%) are non-smoking.
  19. Seems reasonable, although we have to see the impacts. "Controlled Herbs" is definitely a new "category". Saw some comments on Thai social media regarding a "Cannabis Card" allowing one to purchase flower at certified outlets. That seems like it introduces too much control?
  20. I wouldn't think so. But obviously you can ask at the front desk. I think most people smoke in their homes, or outside their homes. Tourists probably just smoke outdoors? I guess you could ask them where they smoke? A leading cause of death here is gravity overdose, which usually involves a balcony. Maybe best not to smoke there, unless you're on the ground-level floor.
  21. I saw one quote attriibuted to Anutin during the presser after this meeting... "We operate a policy mainly for medicine, economics, never aiming towards recreation. Up to now, there will be some cases, some groups misuse. let the law handle it." So he appears to be staying on message, which obfuscates the recreational aspect, for now. My quick read is that the primary defense is that the Cannabis Bill will "control" cannabis, and that progress should re-commence on that activity. Input to the bill from all concerned parties will be listened to, debated, and added or rejected. Assuming the Bill passes at some point, other efforts to re-criminalize cannabis (Administrative Court) will be stopped. Cannabis usage for recreational purposes will be tolerated, much like the services sex workers provide, and controlled. Many of the controls are already in place of course (20 YO, pregnant, public nuisance, licensing, etc.). The Bill, and the resulting Cannabis Commission (24 members proposed with Anutin as the Chair), would continue to refine controls.
  22. They are "meeting to discuss". This step follows the formation of a committee in the Thai government operating flow chart. After the "discussion" the NCB may comment on their discussions. No one, other than a "Court" makes decisions, and even those are often "suggestions". Re-criminalizing Cannabis will require much more effort than allowing it to maintain its current status.
  23. Are Russians still challenged with credit card and ATM usage? Or has that issue been sorted. Is it easy to buy THB with Russian Rubbles?
  24. How long after the day you apply are the COR's delivered? If you pay for two, do they both came in the same enclosure? Or separately. And they are good for 30 days, I think. Does that start the day you apply? Or sometime between the day you apply and the day the "process" and mail it? I think EMS would only take two days max.
