  1. You should investigate the route your call to 1669 will take in advance as that knowledge may help shape your expectations if you have an actual emergency.
We live in a small city with a decent size government hospital with plenty of rescue pickup trucks and ambulance van services.
I once convinced my wife to call 1669 after a biker was hit by a truck, had a severe leg injury and it appeared no assistance was being arranged. The call went to Khon Kaen, a large city 70 kilometers away and the ensuing talk about the problem and location of the patient were quite an eye opener.
Eventually police and rescue showed up but I am not convinced their arrival had anything to do with them being referred from khon kaen 1669.

  2. I’ve not been here long and realize consumer products are mostly inferior to what I’m used to but I have repaired or replaced a lot of fan push button and pull string switches along with plug extension power strips, even the higher quality ones.
She wears every switch out but it’s hard to argue as she’s doing it to save on electricity, including the vampire draw or safety.
I thought about discussing the price of the annual kilowatt cost versus me fixing or buying new devices but that’s a little tricky. Then there’s the safety issue (which is a legitimate concern here) she can fall back on so now I just try play along.

No, take a look back through what you have been saying.  First you said the majority of people voted for Trump,, you were then corrected and it was pointed out to you that although Trump won the electoral college vote he lost the popular vote, therefor he did not gain the majority of votes, and you started saying something about that being a good reason to be friendly with Russia.  Explain yourself, and try to do that without lying this time.

  4. Thing is ya never can tell where special investigations end up.

Remember Clinton started off with Whitewater and ended up with Monica Lewinsky!

Who knows if Manafort has dirt on Trump, or maybe one of his children, associates, impossible to tell.

The one thing about Manafort, it's a pretty tight lipped investigation, not a lot of leaks, opposed as I seem to recall of the Starr investigation against Clinton.

With Trump himself, I'm more inclined to think it just gonna be sleeze, rather than criminality, but who knows.

Of course the same GOP that decried Clintons immorality, now seems perfectly OK with paying off porn stars for affairs, but different times I guess

Yes different times. Clinton’s good time was with an intern in the White House during his presidency and Trump’s was with a pornstar in a whorehouse before his presidency.

What would that be the textbook on exactly?  Certainly not democracy or anything to do with American principles.

Textbook outcome of a representative Republic which is in fact the form of national government in place in the USA. High populations centered in a few states on the coasts didn’t get to mandate through a pure democratic, one person one vote, majority rules to the flyover states who would be president. State level politics are democracies but I’m sure you know all of this.

  6. Not only did President Obama sign legislation in 2016 to remove the word 'Eskimo' from Federal statutes, but also Canada  a long time ago removed the word from official documents.

It may well be that Native Alaskans don't have another word to describe themselves, but I think there are words used between members of the black community in the US which an outsider should not use.

The communities in Canada and Greenland find the word offensive, and both the US and Canadian governments have respected their wishes in this matter. It should not be bandied around by outsiders.

He also changed McKinley to Denali. It doesn’t make him right.
