I think there is a word for it "Smzobies" or something like that.
Smart phone Zombies.

Sorry Guy's for the wait, as I said I'm no mechanic, it appears all it was a leaking water pipe. As I said I checked all fluid levels, looked in the radiator saw what I thought was coolant, wrong, it was nearly empty, it took nearly three litres to refill and seems to be fine now. Hose replaced.

After my stroke I was given little or no advice, I eventually purchased parallel bars, a walker frame and tripod stick. That all happened quite a few years ago, I still can't walk unaided but get by with a little help from my sister in law.
Sorry I can't be of much help, it's a long and sometimes painful road to go down, I hope the woman has/gets the care she needs.
Simple things suddenly become a nightmare, going to the toilet, having a shower and sleeping.
Good luck.

Ok, different advice, A guy is going to come and look at the car today. I think I will opt for the thermostat and see what happens. No way am I going to let anyone drive it. As you can tell I'm no mechanic so thanks for your input, I'll let you know the outcome.
-
Thanks guys, so thermostat, water pump and yes the radiator is getting too hot to touch, apparently someone will come to my house tomorrow.
I will suggest your opinions. Nearest ISUZU garage is 50km door to door so don't want to go that far. It's off the road so to speak until I get this sorted, then to ISUZU for any further diagnosis.

I have owned the above for 12 years, diesel, 3 litre engine, in good condition, 158,000 Km.
The engine check symbol comes on after about 5km, temperature gauge goes to max point.
I have checked all fluid levels, belts etc and all seems to be normal.
All budding and ex mechanics, any idea on what the problem could be.
Only thing I can think of is perhaps gear box related, it's automatic but I seem to recall many years ago I topped up the gear box oil in an old Triumph Stag I once owned.

Thanks, as it happens I was going to replace mine, I was looking at them in BigC but hesitated, glad I did - now we all know.
-
Well I would, as I've already said go to any big store and you can buy off the shelf do it yourself number plates.
-
Sorry but was the story about, the guys killing or drunk/stupid Thai's driving.
-
Why oh wai - thought I'd get that one in.

The police have targets/goals to meet every month. A farang is an easy target, ever noticed just after pay day you don't see them.
A little disagreement with them often makes them back down as I have done in the past - "we need more tourists in our country" carry on but watch your speed.
-
I'm not a newbie to Thailand or food, in a past life in the UK I purchased food for a living, dairy products, meat, tinned goods and fresh veg along with frozen goods as well. If refrozen food is your standard I won't be eating at your restaurant any time soon.
-
Go to any of the big stores and you can make your own plates - why is this possible and do you have to go somewhere else to get them authorized/blessed by a self important prat.
-
Yes but have you ever stood in line at makro, by the time you get outside to your car your produce is getting soft. If anyone knows where to buy dry ice in Mukdahan, I would like to know and directions.
Refrozen food to me is a good way to get food poisoning or a few hours spent on the toilet - stock up on toilet roll supply.
-
Oh please don't reveal anything, let alone all - at its age, disgusting.
-
Thanks for the update, I was beginning to worry - I don't think so.
-
Dry ice, great idea - ever tried buying it out here between the rice fields and jungle. Please tell me where to buy in Mukdahan, that'll add another hour to my journey.
-
Crossy, I'm normally out for three or four hours. Trip from Loengnoktha to Mukdahan, journey time 45 Minutes each way, stop at makro, BigC and Tops. My sister in law drives for me and guides me around as I have a disability with walking.
Thanks for the reply.
-
Refreeze up to you. Not for me thanks. Anyway thanks for the replies, guess I'll just continue with my crushed ice as and when I can get it.
-
Do people not look at their passports after they get stamped - you must report/leave on or before the date stamped.
-
How many different names can you make out of his - I can think of quite a few.
-
Wake me up when it's complete, ps don't forget the north east - or is this just a PR statement for the tourists.
-
In the Gecko - Pelvis Esley.

I'm not an expert, try unplugging everything and then one by one re plug your appliances in and see what happens.
Could be one idea.
