Online 90 day report after change of passport - Jomtien
Wow, my 90-day was approved in only one day! Yay! This out of the country thing seems like just plain watery poop. @Jingthing I know you read that post differently than I did, but I just can't imagine them going back to not approving after having approved it online once. We shall see when the time comes. Fingers crossed. Leaving the country just for this would have been a real waste of time and money.

Online 90 day report after change of passport - Jomtien
Interesting indeed. What a shock they are not consistent! Another strange thing was when I picked up my passport, they required me (and another guy picking up his passport) to go in front of the building and take a photo flanked by two immigration guys. In many years of doing this, I've never had that before.

Online 90 day report after change of passport - Jomtien
As @Jingthing said, as part of the procedure to move my visa and extension from the old passport to the new passport, I was told quite clearly and explicitly that I needed to get a new TM30 so I did that the same day. My 90 day was almost due, so then I got that done the same day as well. That was almost 90 days ago, hence my online application last night. Given the holiday situation I'm expecting it to take a while to get approved or rejected, so we'll see. Edit: It's possible the reason I was given the instruction to do my TM30 was that I knew my 90 day was up soon and told them I wanted to do it the same day. I can't really remember. I DO remember being told very specifically by the copy guy that I needed a new TM30.

Online 90 day report after change of passport - Jomtien
I forgot to mention I'm also working from Jomtien. I read the post you mentioned differently. I didn't see it as they made the first report at the office as we did, then they made their first online renewal (second renewal after the passport), then were declined for the second online (third altogether) report. I just read it as they did the first 90 after new passport at the office then were declined online for the second report (first online). It's not important--we shall see when we get there. I hope my experience mirrors yours of being approved online for the first online attempt.

Online 90 day report after change of passport - Jomtien
I guess I'm in almost exactly the same situation as @Jingthing, got my new passport about 3 months ago, changed stamps, did my new TM30 as they required (and made clear that I had to do it), then did my 90 day report and was told I couldn't do it online until I left the coutnry. The 90 day report is due in just over a week and I just submitted an online attempt. I will report back (unless I forget). Fingers crossed.

Dry herb vape recommendation anyone?
You can vape at much lower temperatures--all the good stuff (sorry for the heavy scientific terminology) is vaporized at 160 or so (can't remember the exact numbers). Sure you get less smoke, but the smoke is not the point, is it? It's the effect.

Jomtien 90 day report - it just got better.
I had read your post so I was extra careful to ask and can confirm they are telling people they must exit and re-enter to use the online system.

Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system (2025)
In the Pattaya forum @Jingthing reported that after getting a new passport he was told he could no longer do online reporting until he left the country and came back. After that it was time for me to do the same, so I made sure when I did the 90-day report with my new passport that I asked whether I needed to leave the country and come back to be able to report online, and two different immigration officers were adamant that I would indeed need to leave the country. I'm not happy about this.

Khao Soi in Pattis
Pretty good at this place, but a bit more expensive. I think chicken kao soi is 95 baht. https://maps.app.goo.gl/KB5tQr96Vc2i36sd8

Thai alternatives to smoking cannabis?
Yes, but the sellers are on the Line app. They have websites every so often, but they pull them down when crackdowns happen (that's my guess at least). About the portable induction machine--yeah, I was thinking of doing it for fun if there was an easy tutorial. The only one's I've found are for the US. I'm too lazy to figure out how to get the same stuff over here, but it seems to be available on Lazada/Shopee. I just don't know if it's the exact right stuff.

Any chance of a tutorial on how to make this? You did it in Thailand?

Thai alternatives to smoking cannabis?
One thing that hasn't been mentioned is my favorite. Nano-THC edibles. I use a syrup from Devour (the brand, search google for 'devour nano-thc syrup' to see). It comes on in 15 minutes, is strong by 30, and full blown by 45 minutes. It's much easier to dose too--couch lock is 1 teaspoon, less for a less intense experience of course. It's nice not stressing your lungs.

90 day report procedure Pattaya Immigration
I also haven't flown in or out in a long time. I read this thread and applied 11 days early rather than the 3-4 days before due date that I usually do and I was approved within 24 hours.

Poll: As a Pattaya expat, do you hate the week-long water-splashing Songkran?
Perhaps my memory is bad, but I feel this year has been a lot less crazy than I remember from before covid. I've been able to go for walks in the morning all the way up to early afternoon without getting wet. I have avoided the main water throwing areas in the afternoon and evening of course. One example is the beer bar complex at the bottom of Soi 8 on Beach Road. I remember that going pretty much 24/7, but in the mornings nothing was happening. Yesterday I walked down Soi 6 at about 11 am and nary a drop of water was thrown.

Root canal quote and need Crown
Does anyone have any experience with going to a government hospital (such as Queen Sirikit near the Pattaya Airport) for a crown. I know that for general medical things, prices are much lower but I'm wondering if I could save money when I get a bridge replaced at some point. The bridge is 3 crowns so can be quite pricey.

Where to park the 800,000 THB?
Does anyone have direct experience with using a fixed term deposit for their 800,000 to extend their visa with Udon immigration? I have a friend who says they would not allow such a thing. Thanks in advance.

Vitamins in Pattaya
Kirkland vitamins on Shopee and Lazada are almost the same price as in the US right now. They used to be much more expensive but have come way down in price.

Dynavap vs convection vapes
I started with a dynavap, then got a crafty+. I noticed what was left after using the crafty+ was a lot less 'used' looking than the dynavap. To me you can get the same results, just 'respect the click' more. This means it takes less time using the dynavap as well. If I had known this, I might not have bought the crafty+, though it's nice not having to use a torch/lighter. May I ask where you got your bubbler?

TM30 Jomtien for Renter of Condo Owned by Foreigner
I own a condo in Jomtien. I rented it out to a foreigner a few years ago, and when I went to do the TM30, they refused as I didn't have a work permit. I ended up not renting the place out. Well, I'm thinking about renting again, and as things change all the time, I was wondering if anyone has experience specifically with Jomtien doing TM30s as a foreign owner renting to another foreigner. Is it possible for me to do the TM30 and if so what documents will they require of me? Thanks in advance.
