If your knowledge of cars is non-existent, then you are at the mercy of the seller. With knowledge comes choices, and you can decide for yourself. Both our cars were bought second hand. The Teana I bought in BKK - could not be new as they have CVT and 4 cylinder and I wanted V6 and torque converter auto. Looked at lots, over 4 days, and bought the best one. One owner since new - two if you count the bank. No issues. Our NV town car the same - a lady teacher who bought it new. 200K - replaced the rad this year as 15 years of running straight water corroded the old copper/brass one. New one aluminum. Main thing - you do not take the hit when you put that first km on a new vehicle, plus many more choices.

Definition of vice

1 a : moral depravity or corruption : wickedness b : a moral fault or failing
And who pray tell will decide this issue ? Some of the Holier than Thou posters here ? Get a grip. And as for prostitutes being enslaved - I think someone needs to give their head a shake. Don't like it there - don't go. Simple.

Are you in Thailand ? If so - where ? Hard to give shop recommendations where your location is unknown.

If the building in question is a monolithic slab construction, the same care must be used during demolition as was used in erection. The building is basically one piece. Google the Korean department store collapse to see what happens when this is not done properly. A structural engineer should be on site as well to ensure that the building is demolished correctly.

You can rest whatever you like, but you implied I had directed the word used towards another poster.
I implied nothing. You took that as my meaning, without any evidence to back up your assumption - as with the so-called rapist in the other thread. But if you win, as you called someone a turd - maybe you will be remembered as POTTY

If you are referring to me, I called a rapist a turd, not another poster.
Get your facts straight.
I rest my case.
FYI I said 'someone' For a Reading comprehension course - Google is your friend

Good luck in your search, and finding the right group of people. Do not let the many negative and depressing answers to be found on this Forum get you down.

one up for election in section one called someone in another thread a 'turd' today. Seems like the quality POTY people are looking for.

I'm really not sure why so many posters on this forum are always jumping down the throats of Thais (males disproportionately more than females) when their legal cases haven't even been brought to court and the only "evidence" we, as armchair prosecutors, have is what's been reported on the news.
The answer can be found in a game of Charades

New Berlin , Wisconsin, United States / April 4, 2009
In a feat that took almost 20 years to accomplish, former Wisconsin senator Dave Zien put a world record 1,000,000 miles on his Harley Davidson FXR motorcycle.
Zien began the journey in 1991. On April 4, 2009, Zien hit the million mile mark.

Retro sells. In this case 73,000 baht more than a CB650F

What make and model do you have in mind ? Search Talarod and 12car to see if they are available here, and what you will have to pay. Then at least you will have a car with a blue book in your name, and just have to register the engine swap with the DLT. Beware that if you have serious mods on it - visually at least - this may cause you some problems when going to do the engine part number change. Each and every DLT seems to be different - no set rules followed around the country.

In my experience, if you start with a good body, the mechanical restoration is not too bad. But if you need to do lots of rust repair, the time and $$$ involved is at times overwhelming. What year is the one you are looking at ? Pic above - with a coat of paint and polished trim - would be quite striking.

We just did ours. Went to the Canadian Consulate and got a list of approved lawyers. You need a lawyer to draw up a will in Thailand - no selfies.
My passport copy, Yellow house book, green bike books, blue car books, any other assets besides personal effects.
Wife copy ID card, Blue House book, copy ID card of her sister in case we die together she is executor.
Go to see a head Doctor same day you sign will. To make sure you are in sufficient mental health to make the decisions required in making and signing the will. Pay 15,000 baht.
Get a copy in Thai and English.
This does not cover assets back in Canada - only Thai Assets.

For my bikes I change somewhere past 50% depending on where that happens in reference to the rainy season. You do not want bald tires on wet roads - ask me how I know that ! My thought - on a bike - all that keeps me from the Pearly Gates (who am I kidding - I am southbound for sure !) is the small rubber contact patches front and back. So keep excellent tires all the time. A new Rosso II is only 4000 and change for the rear. My life is worth that for sure. I find two rears to one front seems what I get with my bikes. But I do not baby them.
Manufacturers say when the wearbars are level with the tread, change time. But I never wait that long - even with car and truck tires.

We have a Nissan NV for town trips - small, easy to park, has a box like a pickup. Save the Teana for road trips. We bought Deestone tires - Thai made. Had them 2 years now, no issues. Seem like you do not put many miles on, so worth looking at as they will get hard and crack long before you wear them out. In that case - why go for premium tires ? Ours 185/65R14

If the old Brit bikes were so good - Trumpet, Beezer, Norton - why did they go belly up ? All this talk of how great they were in the good old days is just that - talk. If they were so good people would have continued to buy them. The Japanese R and D far surpassed anything made back in Blighty. Look at the new models made - see the Japanese influence ? Mine were only improved with the addition of Japanese ignition and charging systems.
