Nope, but their mother is. And all pregnant women get a syphilis test now very early on in their pregnancy. That's up to the doctors. It's really not my concern. I look out for strangers as much as they look out for me. Obviously, I would never knowingly give someone something, but besides that......how is this my business? They are grown ups. Do you feel so bad if some gets another disease from you accidentally? Flu? Bronchitis? Strep? Staph? Pneumonia? COVID? Generally these cause more deaths than STDs, by the way. Why not? What's the difference, besides location?

Yes, you are wrong. Syphilis can be cured in all stages. I think you may be getting mixed up with the stages in which it can/cannot be passed on to others: After the early symptoms go away, you cannot pass it on to others, as it is only transmittable when the infectious primary and secondary lesions are present (within first year) This is correct - as it is a virus, not a bacteria.

Spreading what around? An STD he has no symptoms of?? I get that things can be asymptomatic, but why is he morally obligated to get tested for this reason? That's putting the cart before the horse. And how can others magically get it from him anyway? Have they never heard of safe sex? Or abstinence? What you are basically saying is: He is morally obligated to be periodically tested (without symptoms) to prevent transmission of hypothetical asymptomatic infection to others -- whom are willing to recklessly practice unsafe sex with him? People have such irrational standards for STDs.

You seem to not mind governments censoring information. The mind boggles. I, on the other hand, think information should not be kept from the people and there should be freedom of speech without censorship. Lack of comprehension? One of the traits of a fascist government is to.........drum roll please........censor information !

Yes, I accept this definition of karma.

Please..... cultural?? I suppose deviant things can be accepted in some cultures

Monk’s plea: Thai woman scams 78 year old monk of 800,000 baht
FruitPudding replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
The real crime is: how the F does a monk have more cash in the bank than me? Lol ???? We hear a lot about "poor Thais" from the white knights - hell I even subscribed to that philosophy when fist came here - but it's all BS. -
I am sure he does all kinds of things. I saw his recent antics ????

I am not buying his response. I was in the McCleo Ganj too, a couple of decades ago It's a popular tourist destination in India, a country where most of the population eats vegetarian food most of the time. You can get all kinds of food there. I ate spaghetti carbonara, for example. It ain't rural Tibet. Why did the monks have to eat meat? Were they farming cattle, or something?

I don't think karma is real.

World's worst journalism. What was the scam? How did she get the 800k? -
Aussie mum’s brave battle ends in poignant farewell
FruitPudding replied to Don Chance's topic in Southern Thailand News
Reading the title I assumed it was from riding a motorcycle - which is definitely the single most dangerous thing you could do in Thailand - but she just fell down while walking. It's scary to think you could die from just falling down; shows you how fragile life is. RIP -
- Good location (beach, attractions, or nice views/scenery). - Nice breakfast. - Comfortable beds. - Pool is a must. - Decent room size. 5000 a night is my budget.
