  1. Haha. Trying to be insulting. Nice. Actually, yes, I even graduated from university twice. We are talking about trans here. It's not about gays. Get with it, dude ????
  2. Gay hate?? This topic isn't even about gays.
  3. What did he say that was homophobic? Misogynists? Racists? You are just babbling about random things now.
  4. He didn't say anything homophobic. You are calling him that name to try to silence him.
  5. Ah yes. Calling people names to try to silence them. You don't believe in freedom of speech? And he is right, there is indeed a difference between homosexual people and this trans trend. I'd think nothing of it if my child came out as gay, but if they wanted to remove body parts, I'd be calling a mental therapist to help us. And if teachers were encouraging this, that would be crazy, right? And if I didn't agree with the doctor's prescription, I could lose my child. There have been cases like this. There have been females who cut off their breasts even before they were old enough to drink. And they were on puberty blockers since a young age. Then, after the surgery they regret it and end up suicidal. I've read cases of this too. It's just wrong.
  6. Exactly. And if genitals don't make a particular gender then why would cutting them off affirm the gender? No logic. In the girls' bathrooms, "It's a woman's penis. Nevermind" Then, "We will affirm your gender by cutting that thing off" Just so messed up. Do they really feel better after this? If not, then clearly it is a mental disorder
  7. They are ethnically different, Khymer, Lanna. Thai is a nationality. I'd say Asian is a race.
  8. Isn't that the concept of race?
  9. Well, in the OP it talks of genetics which has nothing to do with ethnicity. Ethnicity is cultural norms, behaviors, and beliefs. It has nothing to do with our DNA, genetics, appearance, or any other physical characteristics
  10. They are just inhumane. They'd rip off a 70 year old woman at the airport for all they can out of her. There's no limit. I just don't use taxis anymore where possible and when I have to I just don't tip.
  11. They are the type of people who would rip off an elderly lady at the airport. They just take advantage wherever they can. It gets to the point where getting a taxi can be a challenge cos so many do it.
  12. I think you are talking about race not ethnicity.
  13. Well, hang on, the guy was saying he feels like motorcycles are safer than buses. Jeez
  14. I see. Time will tell if I will end up in this category - I've met many broke 60 years olds here - but I think if you don't leave it too late to save and invest you can have money to retire on here too (it helps to avoid liquor, ladies, and leverage tho) Though, you can still make voluntary social security payments to get your western state pension - they just make you pay a higher rate than someone working in that country
  15. What does the title have to do with staying in Thailand though?
  16. I sort of agree the the OPs sentiments. I came out her young and I've been here most of my adult life. I don't regret it. I don't think I'd be better off if I had stayed back West. I've had so many experiences here. I've certainly lived life. Not sure I could say that if I stayed back West. I definitely wouldn't want to just arrived here at the age of 60. I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it properly and it would be a totally different place to what I experienced when I first came (and what I still experience now). I mean, what's Thailand gonna be like 20-30 years from now? I've been having a rare old time here the way it is. I am sure I will look back that this time in my life and know they were my best years. At the same time, I could see myself going back when I am old, or doing half here & half there. Best of both.
  17. If that's what they were really doing, fine. But the fact he had been trashing them and only then they started trying to find dirt on him is highly suspicious. He slagged them off. They cancelled him. Doesn't seem like they give a damn about these women. They had a different motive.
  18. People get cancelled all the time. He's been cancelled already. Demonitized by YouTube, lost his prospects. His career is over no matter the verdict. He can't recover from this, even if he is found no guilty. He's been taking shots at the media. Then, the media tried to find dirt on him. The media investigated it (not the police; they hadn't even received a complaint at the time) and published the story clearly as revenge. Hardly a noble thing to do. Absolutely not. But I don't think the media should be able to act as it does.
  19. It really doesn't matter what you feel. The fact is: 80% or more of road fatalities in Thailand are people on a motorcycle. But it's your risk. You do you, man.
  20. So, that means you actually care? Shouldn't the expression be, "I couldn't care less," if you are trying to express how little you care?
  21. Please...... don't you see "the trend?" The message is loud and clear: go against the agenda and the media will dig up anything they can.
