On different note, imagine if you invested in booking com and agoda 10 and 20 years ago. This company just prints money, it is like owning a 15% piece of 80% of hotels and guesthouses on the planet! Probably still a good investment today but a bit expensive right now. Also i see a lot of competition around and people like me who refuse to book in advance.

I never book in advance. I find their listings and reviews to be dubious and misleading. I stake out some guesthouse that i am interested in before i arrive and then check out a few by foot until i decided. Always cheaper and better.
