Sadly, Israel is NOT winning as Hamas got Israel by the short and curly with the hostages issue, Israel who place an outmost value and importance of it's citizens lives and welfare, unlike the Hamas, is about to enter a deal many israelis are not happy about just in order to release 40-50 hostages in return for thousands of arch terrorists and a paus in the campaign which Israel will pay dearly for it, A lot of politics goes into such decision maily in Israel to preserve political clout and government positions, time will tell where this 'deal' will lead...

In Melbourne where i have my second home, every supermarket has this beggar sitting in front like he own the place, they're all able bodies in their 40-50' and bagging for money 7 days a week, Begging become a thing to rely on now days and seeing a foreigner begging is an eyesore as those people sits there for quite sometimes, this is why there embassies to help in such cases...

How about if we all try to ponder the following situation: assuming Israel has relented and given the Palestinas their own land to live and govern, do you think for one moment that the Palestinians and the world's Arabs/Muslims, Iran, Turkey and all the haters and anti semitism of this world, (members of this forum included) will somehow become to love israel now and let bygone be bygone? will hamas put down their weapons and go sell pita bread in the markets now? Of Course NOT, all the haters, and terror groups, Iran, S.Africa and the rest of bigots, antagonistic Israel/Jews Anti Semites haters will continue as before, Nothing will change...

I agree that a country should update it's main fighting machines when the time comes, but updating such large types of armements as planes, subs, tanks and ships is as much political exercise in internal affairs and diplomacy with the suppliers, who's going to supply, when and why is as much as important as the items themselves, Also, let's not forget the pocket lining and kickbacks issue that is a sure thing in countries such as Thailand...

As i have mentioned before, I wasn't born in an English speaking country and i speak 3 other languages including Thai, but i was surprised to learn that one can be and ridiculed and mocked for not using proper grammar and pronounce in their posts, nevermind the merits of one's point he's trying to make, as long as they are using the correct spelling and grammar...How lovely...

Yeah, i must admit, I'm just an elderly, rich retire that hasn't got much ells in his life other than to troll forums such as this one and touch raw nerves, but unlike many of you, I have been here for over 20 years now and judging from the over 65,000 responses i got, ( 95% of the are positive by the way) I think i have earned the right to make myself heard even at the risk of being ridiculed by new comers...
