    Noisy neighbors can be a pain in the drearier for sure, whether be Thai for foreigners, and I have a fair share of them in my 30+ years living in condos, and not always you can complain about it and you just have to put up with it or move.

    If it's any cold comfort to her, many westerners, much more suave and knowledgeable than her have fallen for similar scams and worse, this scamming business is going around everywhere nowadays.

    I can see and sympathies with the the problems that such a big country with huge influx of all sorts coming through it's gates, from the honest tourist to criminals of all size and shapes and from all nations hoping to get lost in the mayhem and confusion and should they get caught, good chance they can buy their way out.

    With 70+ millions population who pays peanuts for admission, procedures, medicines and health care in general, Thailand hospitals are not bad at all considering the above, you want a better care? go private.

    Sukhumvit Rd. has plenty of barber/nail salons to choose from and a manicure and Pedicure shouldn't cost more than 500 baht.

    Take my Thai wife for an example, Oh boy, is she Gullible or what by marrying a guy like me.

    So for a few disabled people, and I mean a few, they want to turn this ultra bustling place into a walking center? to read such a dumb proposal early in the morning enough to ruin your day.

    It is all has to do with the laws of average, when you have X numbers of motorcycles on the road a certain percentage of them will meet with unfortunate end, being Thai, Russians or any other nationality, so we will be reading such articles over and over again for years to come.

    Thank you all for the useful information, my friend had a stress test today and this is where he was told about the severity of his blockage, they recommended to do angiogram as an assessment procedure and take it from there but by the look of things he might have to do angioplasty with stents put in.

    A friend of mine, UK guy in his 60' need an urgent Angioplasty ( the unclogging of the arteries with a balloon) procedure done as 70% of his arteries are blocked, no health insurance to rely on, any ideas where to have it done the best and cheapest way? he's in Pattaya but will travel anywhere.

    And where was the abbot and the other temple's management people in all of this? next they will say that they didn't had a clue of the scam going on right under their noses right?

    Not sure about your experience flying with TG but I flew very recently with TG from Melbourne to BKk economy class and I couldn't fault the service, the compatible fare and the flight as a whole and I'm the complaining type of person when it is warranted to do so.

    So let me understand, you can just walk into any bank and claim you lost a bank book with hundreds of millions in it and ask for new one? ofcaurse not, unless some senior policemen tell the bank that yes, you can unfreeze and to issue a new bankbook, I mean, how In your face is all this shenanigans' are? not even trying to hide it anymore.
