    What a bizarre and outlandish story, I have rad many, many fiendish killing stories in my life but this one takes the cake.

    Not only Thai banks gives you a laughable interest rate for your savings, (as oppose to Australia for instance where you get 4.5% pa) now they want to charge you for cash transactions, more cost gauging from an industry that we are dependent on, Way to go Thailand.

    I heard about KU beef but never got around to try it and from the look of it, it looks promising and I'm going to give it a try.

    Just wondering how much of the 2 trillion will actually find itself to good and correct cause? My guess is, not much.

    This kind of behavior is happening all over the world's roads and even worse outcomes, best is to let things go, i know it's hard as often I myself get angry at other inconsiderate motorists but I allow for cool head to prevail.

    I was referring to a beef with a decent amount of marbling in it, not a wagyu beef level, but some marbling that makes the steak cook faster and juicier, I'll give Pon Yang Kham beef a go at Thai-French Butchery.

    Where in BKK or Pattaya can one buy good quality, reasonably priced Thai beef? there're several imported beef suppliers around but just wondering whether the local beef can stack up to the imported and pricy beef?

    foreign media doesn't have a clue about what makes Thai politics work, hack, sometimes even most Thai don't know much about it, all they want is not to be forgotten once the election is over and the election's promises gone with the wind.

    Those are horrendous, unfathomable figures, an ongoing catastrophe on a mega proportion that no one seems to know what to do about it or stop it.

    Even 150k a month is high in Thai standard, and as one poster commented, there's a lot of Russian and other nationalities flocking to Phuket right now that either can afford it or they're forced to pay such high rent, so if they think they can get it, good for them.

    To re-educate Thai drivers will be akin to shifting mountains, and impossible task, what can be done is try to minimize the carnage on the roads, and a person who can achieve that can also turn dust into gold. so for now, it remains as a wishful thinking.

    One will not be blamed to assume that out 1.4 billion Chinese there would be a fair number of criminals that staying in China is not an option any longer and that they're looking for a safe heaven and a greener pasture, and what better than Thailand with it's less than honest culture of bribery and crooked police force?

    10,000 baht a month rent a month is the kind of rent you pay at a high-end condominium, 50-75,000 baht will be more like it, and yes, some renters do live in a shocking mess and live the place messy.

    A nephew of mine not long ago in Phuket was cajoled into playing some sort of games with the girls where when he lost, he'd buy a drink to 2-3 girls there and before long the tab came to 5,000 baht which he paid and left the bar feeling that he's been had.
