Health Six Dead as Covid Cases Surge in Thailand
Airalee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
it was quite telling that they buried this old 2005 study… https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1232869/ Background Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available. Results We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations. Conclusion Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds. -

Health Six Dead as Covid Cases Surge in Thailand

The funny thing about the post you’re responding to (which was a response to my post) is that I made no epidemiological claims but strictly pointed out some basic math (deaths vs cases) and the lack of vaccination status disclosure. The mud-bloods sure do seem to be getting more and more angry. If gambling were legal here, I’d bet the farm on the vaccination status of all those who are telling us how bad their recent infections have been. -

Who takes advice from a fat doctor? 6 deaths out of more than 16,000 cases? Sounds like a 99.97% survival rate to me. Of course, the fat doctor doesn’t tell us about the fat and vaxxed patients because you damn well know that if they were unvaccinated, we wouldn’t have heard the end of it.- 227 replies

Report Covid-19 Resurgence in Thailand: Over 8,000 Cases Reported in a Week
Airalee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I wonder why so many of the proponents (other than a few diehard jab-addicts) aren’t following “the sciences” recommendations regarding boosters? Many will state that omicron or whatever the strain du jour isn’t worrying enough for them to get boosted…..but they follow the science and are ab-so-lutely sure that the goop saved gazillions of lives. But now they choose not to listen to the cdc? When did they fall out of love with “the science”? -
You realize you’re replying to one of those “health forum ailment complainers”, right? Hilarious that some don’t realize how many posters are no longer with us. Yeah….probably just bored with the politics (even though they were some of the the most prolific posters). Natural causes….lol. Tick Tock Tock Tock.

Tourism Thailand Adjusts Tourism Goals Amid 30% Drop in Chinese Visitors
Airalee replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
The free money from the “we travel together” was great during covid but this time around….no thanks. Ironically, I will count for 3 (or more) entries this year but that is actually me leaving Thailand to spend more time in the US and Vietnam and keeping my stay here under the 180 day taxation threshold. -
And that’s why this video is appropriate "Hey Man Nice Shot" I wish I would've met you Now it's a little late What you could've taught me I could've saved some face They think that your early ending Was all wrong For the most part they're right But look how they all got strong That's why I say hey man, nice shot What a good shot man A man Has gun Hey man Have fun Nice shot Now that the smoke's gone And the air is all clear Those who were right there Got a new kind of fear You'd fight and you were right But they were just too strong They'd stick it in your face And let you smell what they consider wrong That's why I say hey man nice, nice shot What a good shot man A man Has gun Hey man Have fun Nice shot I wish I would've met you I wish I would've met you I'd say Nice shot -Filter https://www.bitchute.com/video/TXWXirDdLlhN

Why are you still in Thailand, not in Vietnam?
Airalee replied to JoseThailand's topic in General Topics
Why does it have to be one or the other? I recently spent 3 months in Da Nang and was pleasantly surprised. It was night and day compared to my visits to Hanoi in the past (7-10 years ago) with the constant pestering by all sorts of trades from the pedicabs, shoe repair con-artists, cigarette lighter sellers who will follow you down the block and won’t take no for an answer. Doesn’t mean I’m giving up on Thailand. Just expanding my horizons. Can’t see how that’s a bad thing.
