I refill our gas bottle in Udon Thani at a LPG /Petrol station. Just put it in your car boot and pull up next to the gas pump and they will refill it in your boot. It normally costs ฿400 for a full refill.

The term Bakers dozen meaning 13 originated as the Baker would make a dozen and an extra 1 for himself/herself,hence a Bakers dozen is 13.

Phuket Sandbox island quarantine reduced to seven days
mlkik replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
I have declined the accomodation refund as I want to stay in Phuket for the full 14 days before returning home to Udon. Not sure if a negative PCR test will be required before travelling up to Udon so as of yet I am still going to have the 3rd test but am able to have that refunded if under the new rules it is not needed. -

UK continues its refusal to recognise vaccines administered in Thailand
mlkik replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thailand is on the red list .Therefore if you return to the UK from Thailand you have to quarantene. This applies to people who live in the UK and to expats. It is not discriminating against expats. I am flying to Thailand next week and if I return when Thailand is still on the red list then I will have to quarantene just the same. -
Yes I have my COE and it is a welcome change to my last years COE which if your flight times changed you had to get in touch with the Embassy for àn amendment.

SURVEY: Sandbox -- the way to go or just a failing PR stunt?
mlkik replied to Scott's topic in Thailand News
Last year I did the 15 night quarantene in Bangkok and paid ฿40.000 .I have since returned to the UK and had my double vaccination. In 6 weeks time I am flying direct to Phuket and staying in a 5 star hotel and the cost of that stay and my 3 PCR tests is ฿22.500. I much prefer the thought of my up coming stay in Phuket to the Bangkok quarantene. For us long stay visa holders it is a much better way to return home to Thailand.
