Temp checks don't detect covid, you can have a fever for many reasons. How about spending some money on proper testing

Echo Echo, didn't they say that when this virus first started? Get on it now guys

Hot spots have been locked down and supposedly covid free zones pay the price. Hunker down all, we know what's coming next!

I could see shutting down domestic travel for a week or two until they get things under control if they start to spread but locking down people and businesses in unaffected areas makes no sense

They all know the ban is coming so they simply stock up, plus the mom & pop shops. Dog and pony show that hurts businesses and workers alike

Wonder if they had been recently smuggled in as cheap labour?
How can the infection rate be so high in any one particular group?
I could be mistaken on this but i think they came on fishing boats and then infected the migrant camps. Corrections and info welcome!

Think about those that work in the bar/entertainment business. It will not probably be a paid day off, no drink commissions, no tips. In an economy that has already suffered a lot of hardship why add to it. They are trying to promote domestic tourism yet no one will be travelling this weekend

I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish when they are leading the globe in roadside deaths and can''t teach how their citizens to drive or respect rules of the road

It's not about money at all is it?

I thought masks were for you can't social distance. There are times it isn't possible. There is an analogy i can make but it will go off topic so i'll leave it but at least trying something is better than total neglect

We still don't know how long the jabs are good for. What happens when the virus mutates. You can still get the virus, what are the long term effects? How many will actually take the jab?
Lots of unanswered questions. It's going to be some time until we get back to normal.
They are already talking about , like many other diseases that have vaccines, boosters will probably need to be done occasionally. As to how many will actually take the jab, there is a remarkably lower percentage of people that take the flu jab yearly yet it is widely available and free in many places. I think this one s different and may be a requirement to work in some places. Kind of like yellow fever jabs and cards are required to work in Africa

Sure. Let the brave Taxi drivers get a bit back from all the taxes they paid over the years. Not
There are plenty of entertainment workers in pattaya that fit that bill yet are included in the plan. it should be for all most basic needs for all Thais

Anutin says this is because of those being selfish with out acknowledging that the borders should have been much more enforced and this should have been forseen. With all the money that guy has you would think he would buy a clue. Hope all of us here enjoyed it it while it lasted, could turn ugly quick, jus sayin'

What a joke! From what i read a few weeks ago, so this is not breaking news, is that not only did you have to have 500K it had to be in an account for at least 6 months. But it isn't about money is it...lol. Backpackers who will travel around Thailand for 2 months. They probably won't spend 50K let alone 500K. This just keeps getting more amusing yet depressing at the same time

Hilarious! Somehow she was able to walk to where she was, and would have to walk back to get to transport or home yet she couldn't stand. Talk about a lame excuse. I'm not not Thai but when in public i always stand and if walking stop.

What you write is not correct > it is ONLY when applying for a Special Tourist Visa (STV) that you need to travel from a “LOW-RISK” AREA.
When meeting the criteria (e.g. married to a Thai national, or with a Non Imm O-A Visa) you can apply for the COE at your Thai Embassy/Consulate abroad.
That's what i thought originally. With all the flip flopping they have done i got confused, i hope you are right

First of all drop in the bucket, they aren't used on migrant truckers importing good across the border. Second can you send a link for all of us to follow regarding this extensive testing policy? Would love to read it
