  1. Would this work in Thailand is it not a job reserved for Thais? I thought that's what brown envelopes were for?
  2. Actor hahaha I know someone who was an extra in Doctor who once its more likely you will have heard of them
  3. Have to be careful with this one I have just had a bit of a nightmare with mine turned out was quite easy in the end. Basically i am from the UK registered my Wise account with my Thai address using my bank statement and that's fine they let me do that and type in an address that wasn't exactly how it was on my bank statement, then they send me a please confirm your address or we will suspend your account email so I tried to re type the address and it wouldn't accept it, just kept on saying the address doesn't look right. So I copied and pasted the address exactly how it was on the bank statement and it worked, I think there is some kind of country look up on the address that you use on your registered address to ensure it actually exists and it worked
  4. Yep exactly right we can't have everyone giving up cigarettes the economy would go into meltdown, the UK deal with it by doubling the price of a box of cigarettes every year!
  5. Yeah true usually the airlines that check although it is known for border agency to do spot checks on departure but probably quite rare to use a stolen passport to get out of your own country its the other end people are usually more concerned about!
  6. There's plenty of shut down vape shops and cannabis shops to open up as poker dens and then to open back up as pot shops and vape shops when they ban gambling again might as well hop on the Thai roundabout while its spinning
  7. Another announcement to add to my new filing system "The trash"
  8. Thanks Team prompt as always!
  9. Hello guys my family are planning visiting on the 7th of June for 2 weeks and my Dad is trying to to the arrival card online and won't accept his arrival date. Has anyone else heard of similar issues or you think he would be OK just doing it in the airport? Or try another browser 🙂
  10. Lincolnshire, Staffordshire and Runcorn come on!
  11. Key Achievements: Parliamentary Breakthrough: In a landmark victory, Reform UK secured the Runcorn and Helsby parliamentary seat by a mere six votes, with Sarah Pochin defeating Labour's candidate. This win adds to their presence in Parliament, bringing their total to five MPs. Reuters+8AP News+8Cadena SER+8 Mayoral Success: The party achieved its first regional mayoralty by winning the Greater Lincolnshire mayoral race, signaling its growing appeal beyond parliamentary contests. Yahoo News UK+7AP News+7Financial Times+7 Local Council Gains: Reform UK made substantial inroads in local elections, notably gaining 23 council seats in Northumberland. These gains came at the expense of both Labour and Conservative parties, highlighting a shift in local political dynamics. The Standard Political Implications: These victories underscore Reform UK's emergence as a formidable force in British politics, challenging the traditional dominance of Labour and the Conservatives. Farage has positioned the party as the new opposition, capitalizing on public dissatisfaction with mainstream parties. The party's focus on issues like immigration and economic reform resonates with a segment of the electorate seeking alternatives to established political narratives. The Guardian+11AP News+11Financial Times+11Latest news & breaking headlines+1HuffPost+1 While the first-past-the-post electoral system presents challenges for smaller parties, Reform UK's recent successes indicate a growing influence that could reshape future political contests in the UK.
  12. Where does the T money go I cant see any USB slots for that?
  13. I am sure this question has been asked many times but I have recently cut down from a very heavy smoker 40+ a day down to zero using a vape. I purchased the vape and accessories from China Lazada and it is always for my personal use I have heard about crackdowns on importers and smugglers and some high profile vaping cases but not much about general Joe Bloggs getting done. I have done all my research and know it is still early days on the health implications of vaping but I can't see it being any worse than 40 Marlboro a day for me. The official penalties even for personal use do seem excessively high so definitely for the moment I am going to stick to doing this in the privacy of my own condo however when I am out and about I do see many people using vapes. Wondered if anyone has any personal experience regarding this?
  14. Hahahaha Karma at it's best, I would have ran over his motorbike just for good measure

  17. I'll be happy when he builds himself a nice house on Mars, heads off up there in one of his rocket-ships, has no contact to earth and the rocket-ship self-destructs. That will be winning!
  18. I think I know where you mean the top of Soi 4 didn't see that many trannies with stubble in there last time I was in 🤣

  22. Food is bad (no beef) Women are worse (just wont go with foreign men) Walking around anywhere you become a tourist attraction (and those are the places to walk) You can't take a woman to your hotel (unless you are married) Unless you are working in an office you will struggle to find anyone that speaks English. It is the dirtiest country I have ever visited. There are traffic jams all around the cities as cows have right of way. Most Indians do not know what deodorant is. People just p1$$ and sh4t in the street at least in Thailand some efforts are taken to avoid that Apart from a couple of beach resorts that are steadily getting worse crap if you are a beach lover The south is extremely conservative to the point you would get stared at for wearing shorts It pretty much smells of sewerage any part of the country you are in But apart from that fill your boots
  23. Good - I feel a game of ring a ring a roses coming on by Trump again
