  1. Yeah they are a bit sensitive about that stuff I was in a go-go in Phuket a couple of weeks ago and was doing a bank transfer on my phone under the table so there was no way my phone could ever be pointed at the girls as something I would never do, however the manager was pretty fast off the mark to give me a bollocking which p1$5ed me off a bit so put the phone away finished and paid for my drink and exited, the birds in there were nice though 🤣
  2. I have just been playing about with this myself from a hobby perspective, a Raspberry Pi a few free bits of software with an Ethernet connection to your router. Should be able to get a terms agreement page (login if you want) log all clients including mac addresses/session times and duration etc, and a nice GUI to view all the audit to see if anyone is taking the pee out of your free WiFi and meet any regulatory requirements (if there are any) I set mine up from the below tech stack I got off ChatGPT, I can PM you the full setup instructions if you want to use it, bit of a pain to set up and have to know a little bit about what you are doing. Best Software Stack ✅ 1. CoovaChilli + FreeRADIUS + a Captive Portal This is the most robust, open-source setup for what you want: Component Purpose CoovaChilli Captive portal software that intercepts traffic FreeRADIUS Authenticates and logs clients (optional login) MySQL Stores user sessions and logs phpMyAdmin (Optional) View logs via web interface Custom Portal Page Terms of Use and Accept button 🧰 How It Works Raspberry Pi runs hostapd to create the Wi-Fi hotspot. CoovaChilli captures all traffic until the user accepts the Terms. CoovaChilli redirects to a web page (portal) served locally. After accepting, users are allowed online. CoovaChilli logs the user’s MAC address, IP, session start/end time, and data usage into the RADIUS backend.

  7. The decision didn't mean he didn't do it it just meant there was a lack of evidence that could be found, obviously a clever criminal.

  14. Not all my own work 🙂 but some left leaning failures not just by the US but also the UK aren't perfect! Lyndon B. Johnson – War on Poverty: Welfare expansion led to long-term dependency and breakdown of family structures. Jimmy Carter – Department of Energy creation & deregulated savings and loans: Contributed to energy crises and S&L financial collapse. Bill Clinton – Community Reinvestment Act (expanded): Encouraged risky lending, linked by critics to the 2008 housing crash. Barack Obama – Affordable Care Act (Obamacare): Caused premium hikes and insurer exits in some markets. Joe Biden – American Rescue Plan (2021): Stimulus spending blamed for fueling inflation and labor shortages. UK Harold Wilson – Nationalisation policies (1960s–70s): Led to inefficient state-run industries and economic stagnation. James Callaghan – Wage and price controls (1970s): Contributed to the “Winter of Discontent” with mass strikes and inflation. Tony Blair – Open-door EU immigration policy: Strained public services and created backlash fueling Brexit. Gordon Brown – Big expansion of public spending (2000s): Left UK vulnerable during 2008 financial crisis. Keir Starmer (Labour positions, not PM) – Pledge to rejoin EU institutions: Criticized as ignoring Brexit referendum outcome (hypothetical/future-oriented).

  20. Last few years makes sense try last 2 decades and you might be on the right track you think all of a sudden this will magically happen overnight? My back pack and a reserve stash of real paper money is always at hand but why would thailand want to get rid of their farang cash cows?
  21. @sidneybear Seems to be 99% ahead of all other members on this forum so perhaps he can pay all of our taxes 🤣
  22. Alright you seem to be an expert even in thailand you think they would close your bank account steal your money without prior notice? If there is a grace period doesn't that automatically mean prior notice first. But thankyou for debunking me with your superior knowledge of the thai financial system
