Is this like the only issue they are talking about? All the other problems solved?

Much ado about nothing, and now if the party poopers get their way, easy going potheads are going to start filling the jail cells once again. Moreover, the government now has a list of people who legally registered to grow at home and sell in shops to chase down and send to the gallows. Life sucks sometimes.
Like an overly complicated form of entrapment

Is there any benefit from buying during a show as opposed to at the show?
For normal cars, not luxury or super.

Hello all,
Need to renovate a house and looking for suggestions for people to help.
I know of home pro, but am curious if there are other or better options.
Right now looking for sun blocking curtains, interior paint jobs to make the place look nice, and possibly a new kitchen.
Side note:. The house has one of those basic default built-in kitchen inside it. Are they difficult to remove?
Also welcome any other guidance you may feel will help.
Thank you all.

If I bring my family over and show them around (13 people), am I techincally acting as a guide? So am I breaking the law? Maybe Thailand should reassess whether "Tour Guide" should be a protected job, as there seem to be too many grey areas surrounding the issue.
Are you getting compensated? Are you doing this on a frequent (daily basis all year)?
If not, you're not a guide.
The legit guides have to go through a process (and learn a language) to do their jobs. The non legit guides get to bypass all that and earn a non traceable amount of money.
This issue should be addressed.

Confusing article. Both my banks, BBL and UOB require biometric identity authorization on every transaction using thumbprint, plus, both banks already have limits based on types of transfer being made.
Not for me. You referring to app or in person?
Wonder if it's mandatory or you opted in somehow?

Can you not do 90 day report online in Hua Hin?

Seems hit and miss for me. Some days I get two, sometimes I go days without.

Actually no, that's pretty easy to find. Sounds like there might not be one in Hua Hin.

Bangkok has the Chinese pharmacy in Nana. Pattaya has one on second road next to Tim's.
What's the equivalent in Hua Hin?
Thank you.

This makes things more dangerous as the pedestrian may assume a level of safety without realizing that traffic pays zero attention to crossings.

It was a total flop in 2003 and has changed a lot since the original 20 year elite card. With possible amendments, an unstable political situation, and the fact that you have to renew it every 5 years and still have to do the 90 day report “with their assistance” makes me stay away from it. I guess if you’re under 50 or have cash to throw away with no guarantees it may be for you. Cost for 20 elite premium is over 2 million plus a small annual fee.
Cost for 20 year is 1M. No annual fees.
90 day reports can be done alone or online in five minutes.
Government's stability issues have not had any real effect on the tourism sector.
TE is a cash cow, so is very unlikely to be effected.

Clarkson has a different way of talking. He doesn't mean things literally, and says things more to express an idea or sentiment in an over exaggerated way.
Also, no one should care what he says, he's just voicing his thoughts, and others should ignore.
He often says this himself.

He's suspecting that you are not a real tourist but rather someone using the tourist visa to stay for non tourist reasons. Perhaps planning to live here or maybe even a possible over stayer.
Given your travel history and that you are not staying in a hotel, he has reason

You are not missing anything. It really is that simple.
It also makes no sense since it can be done automatically by anyone anywhere on the planet.

Did he know he was on overstay? 16 days does not seem enough to warrant a wall of police men.
The law is the law, fine. But this seems a little over enthusiastic.

Keep in mind, a lot of these laws are meant to only be used to go after people the state does not like.
It's not as if they care if the couple are married. But if they want to punish someone they don't like, they got one more tool.

Technically, a country that uses the cloak of Islam to execute it's own agenda.
Leaders using religion as an excuse is as old as religion itself.

If the argument was to close at 6pm or even 8pm to avoid COVID spreading, i could understand. But 2 vs 4 am will not make a difference. It is not likely that at 2am one finally decides to unmask and snog, but not do that at 1am.
I would like to see his data to backup this claim.
Making baseless claims here diminishes credibility when he tries to claim marijuana is safe.
