Still not sure how this is better than Thailand Elite, if you just want to retire here.
Also, how do wealthy individuals who do not draw income or a pension, but rather live on their savings, show income? It could discriminate against retirees with 10s of millions sitting in CDs or such.

What he may mean is that unlimited does not mean max speed. You may be limited to 512kbps. Also you may be limited by a FUP, hours, or even which internet services you can use.

Any where you can go in, choose from a selection, and then spend the next couple of hours or so there (perhaps they have other food/drink items).
Thank you

you may find that the tables are turning quite quick on those kind of old myths.
That reality still holds as of last night.

If Russians can fly to Thailand, then they can connect and fly anywhere.
I wonder how the West will view Thailand for enabling this.

And they were attacking countries far from their home land, somewhere whey they should not be at all. Russia, on the other hand, is protecting their immediate neighbourhood and regions that they had in their possession historically, too. I do not remember USA having any interests in Libya or other countries apart from the oil and greed. AND let's not forget that even the land they call home now was stolen from the "Indians".
.
The word you are looking for to describe Russia's action is: Genocide

@JayBird no-one is scared of a needle but the people who dont want a vaccine or a booster have a right to decide what they put in their body.
The argument I often hear about why one does not want to have the shot are arguments that I find hard to accept:
-- 5G chips
-- Made from dead babies
-- Lizardmen blood
-- Bill gates will monitor me
-- CIA is tracking me
-- It will change my DNA and I'll turn into a lizard man
It's hard for me to agree with that reasoning. If they come up with more coherent arguments:
-- I do not care if I get sick and make others sick
-- Keeping my body pure from this vaccine is more important than helping keep the community safe
-- I have medical conditions that make this dangerous for me
Then I may or may not agree with their position, but at least it is a coherent reasoning that I can understand.
But given that our bodies are so full of junk already, a vaccine booster is probably the cleanest thing to get put in it ????

How about not being such a 'snowflake' living in fear of such a little virus? How about not being so scared that you won't go outside unless you wear double masks and a face shield, plastic gloves and keep washing yourself down the hand sanitizer. ????
I don't live in fear. I'm vaccinated ????
I also don't wear masks because.. you know.. I'm vaccinated.
I do wash myself regularly tho, but that's just good hygiene.

Sadly it is most likely to stay here. We could hope to do a 'Smallpox' thing and try to erradicate it, but given the hesitancy for many to accept vaccines these days, it could be problematic.
Fortunately, we should be able to manage it with the same approach we take for flu shots. Just get your regular jabs which should contain the serum for whatever is floating around that season and you should be good to go ????
Let's enjoy the fact that we live in an age where medicine is able to keep up with the rate of introduction of new viruses and mutations.

I've yet to see an Arabian woman sunbathing, swimming , driving a jetski , parasailing or even exercising.
There could be Arab women who are not strictly religious, so it might require closer attention than just their clothes.

It's a vaccine booster shot. You're not being asked to climb Everest naked or eat a kilo of dung everyday. Y'all need to stop being such snowflakes and living in fear of a little needle.

Lockdown?

This does not apply to me, but I am curious:
If you are an american covered by medicare/medicaid but want to retire in Thailand, is there a health plan that will cover you in Thailand that takes into consideration you are covered in the USA by Medicare/Medicaid?
I believe Medicare/Medicaid does *not* cover you in Thailand (you have to return home), but is there some way to top-up the plan or get an add-on, or some sort of affiliate that offers you coverage at a discount (versus signing up fresh with a brand new company)?
Thank you.

What happens to mix race couples? There are foreigners here married to Thai. Do they pay the Thai rate, foreign rate, or in between?
How does it work with apps like agoda? Will they be required to ask the nationality of the person booking then show the rates?

Mask mandate will help slow the spread of the virus in the community. Not stop it, just slow it. This buys time but is not a solution in itself.
What is the long term plan, and do masks make a material difference in succeeding in that plan?
One would presently suggest a vigilant approach to full vaccination of the community will achieve sufficient results. I think this is where all the medical attention should be focused.

These Indians are becoming a nuisance and drain on police resources.
I hardly recall an issue before they came, nor anyone else claiming a problem.
Maybe inform all Indians on arrival: If you wear gold you will not be helped by police nor given a report for insurance claims

Children being raped by daddy don't often get the choice.
Contraceptives are not 100%.
And soon they will be illegal.
Also: This law stops safe abortions. It does not block access to metal hangers.

Terminology & Sizing in Edibles
in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Posted
I've seen shops describe the content of edibles as:
x mg (i.e. 50 mg)
x g (i.e., 5 grams)
x ml (i.e. 5 ml).
Anyone know why they use difference units of measurement (ml vs mg). Also, how can a gummy with 50 mg be described as 'strong' when someone is selling a brownie with 5g ?
