  1. You can't transfer to Phuket; ASQ in Bkk or direct flight to Phuket for sandbox.
  2. Just make sure it mentions coverage for Covid specifically and it will be fine.
  3. All you need is to be covered, if your home insurance states it covers you for Covid at a minimum of US$100k you will get a COE.
  4. Based on April/May they'll change it at immigration when you land. Re COE, Vienna has updated info:
  5. Normal flights, but a subset of the normal air traffic, that are allowed to bring in passengers. Official list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ijBJOTgFJPAuWUfkPIA60iniXB9j9Ba2XHafXzA6JCw/edit#gid=2057293440 Although doesn't exactly look as if they've kept it up to date?
  6. Was the same earlier this year from memory, "official" notice not until the last second but no issue, people just booked as it was and then got billed for 7 or 10 days depending on vax status (or reimbursed if they'd paid upfront). Prices ready to go (unless drastic changes) on thaiest anyway, all they need to do is remove score through e.g. https://thaiest.com/bookings/asq/le-meridien-bangkok https://thaiest.com/bookings/asq/aloft-bangkok-sukhumvit-11 Still listed from earlier ... or setting up ready to go?
  7. In this case it wasn't exceptional; it was the way the changes where implemented as various reports attested to.
  8. Guessing he's talking about the new way to make one dose last for five people: "Phuket has become the first province in Thailand to implement a new injection method of administering a third Covid-19 booster vaccine under the skin instead of into the muscle. Staff at the Indoor Sports Stadium at Saphan Hin began using the new vaccination method for the first time yesterday." https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/thailand-try-alternative-covid-19-vaccination-method-stretch-supplies-2021-09-20/ https://thethaiger.com/news/phuket/phuket-begins-new-subdermal-injection-method-for-vaccines
  9. Would would this be one?: China's most powerful regulators on Friday intensified a crackdown on cryptocurrencies with a blanket ban on all crypto transactions and mining, hitting bitcoin and other major coins and pressuring crypto and blockchain-related stocks. https://www.reuters.com/world/china/china-central-bank-vows-crackdown-cryptocurrency-trading-2021-09-24/
  10. ^ Or possibly more accurately depending where you are currently, return on TR or visa exempt and convert to Non-O in Thailand.
  11. Return on Non-O rather than Non-OA; currently insurance not required.
  12. Did you click the button to attach too? (That usability issue has caught out numerous people.)
  13. Thanks, thought I may havemissed something, will keep hoping.
  14. @ubonjoe Has there been announcement re visa exempt? Was hoping the 45 days would be extended after 30 September if quarantine is still in place.
  15. Good to know in that case, like I said, have never heard of it before but will certainly file it away in the memory bank now.
  16. First I've heard that one; going just after your birthday gives the extra year(ish).
  17. Why, doesn't that leave you vulnerable (i.e. insurance void due to not having a valid licence)?
  18. If you don't need the hassle of trying to get cable to your place grab something like this: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/tp-link-tl-mr100-4g-300mbps-wireless-n-4g-lte-router-4g-3-i942206672-s1947378580.html
  19. You don't expect 100% clarity with the state of politics & journalism as they are now do you? 555 Basically sounds like they're looking to go back to the way it was for a short time around May.
