Immigration is open as usual.

I would love to show/watch the final but the only Supersport feed that can be received in CM is the Rest of Africa rather than the South African feed. The 20/20 was dropped from RoA because Indian cable operators were stealing the feed to show the games incurring the wrath of the official Indian broadcasters. So unfortunately I don't think anyone can pick it up. As Bangkok Blue says internet is your best bet.
Shame as it will be a cracker although after last nights performance the Aussies have got to be favourites.

So sorry to hear this news Frank. Get well soon.
-
Once I can confirm I have the games I will look at scheduling. Sorry I can't be more precise at the moment but I am taking it very much one step at a time.
I will let you know.

At this time I am 90% sure Tuskers will be showing the World Cup in Chiang Mai with English commentary. Should be able to confirm later this week

It is Holland's Queens Day on Friday and Tuskers will be holding our annual Koninginnedag party.
We will be serving croquette, bitterbal and frikandel, have a drinks promotion and will be playing some traditional and not so traditional games (spijkerpopen and beer pong).
Festivities start at 7pm and if previous years are anything to go by it is liable to get quite wild.
If you would like to come all are welcome and if possible please wear orange.

We are big fans of the Chiang Dao Nest. It seems to hit all your prerequisites. We have stayed there many times and never been disappointed.

Koninginnedag is Holland's Queens Day and Tuskers will be celebrating in style with our pub festooned in orange.
We have drinks and Dutch food promotions including hagelslag which is Dutch for chocolate sprinkles on toast!
There will be party games including beer pong with orange balls and plenty of Dutch party music.
We invite everyone whether Dutch or not to join us in this most joyous of festivals. Please wear something orange!

This Friday Tuskers will be celebrating Saint George's Day with a bangers, mash and onion gravy supper for 12obaht as well as a promotion on large Leo beer and gin and tonic for 55 baht each between 7&9pm.
All are welcome

They're pack animals for operations in the forest.

I've just finished Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, very enjoyable thrillers. Shame he passed away after writing the third book I think it's a series that had more legs.
For something Thailand based John Burdett's Bangkok series are a good read and James Clavell's Asian saga books are superb.

Didn't fall for that one. By this time in the week few cricketers are capable of standing up let alone running amok.
-
they sell them just up the road from Global House... actualy, might have walls as well, but easy enough to customise.
Yes I can confirm this I just spotted them this afternoon.

There are some army surplus shops on Manee Nopparat which is the outer northern moat road. They should have what you are looking for.

Congratulations on the twins I am sure you have your hands full
I do not know whether nanny is an occupation permitted for foreign nationals. You apply for a work permit at the Labour Office at City Hall. It is on the left hand side of the inner court yard of the main City Hall building. I have always found them to be extremely well run and helpful and I am sure they will be able to answer all your queries.
Good luck.

I've watched fights there too and they open early so it's the ideal venue live events from the US. The UN Irish is on Ratchwithi Road in the Old City

Some time ago I asked Siam Commercial (Tha Pae Road) to do a valuation and survey on a property for me. It was very in depth covering local searches, all the deeds and plans, state of the building etc etc. It ran to 17 pages and was very impressive. All in Thai so I had to have it translated. It cost 5,000 baht.

So terribly sorry to hear this news.
Hang in there Frank we're all pulling for you.
-
We have stopped playing as there was a problem getting enough people out on a regular basis. If it starts up again I will post here
-
England look weaker in the pack and in set pieces which is a change from their norm although losing Gethin Jenkins was a blow to Wales.
I agree with you that it will be tight Donny but I think home advantage will see England marginally home.
-
Tuskers will also be showing the games and playing Fantasy Six Nations as well.
Anyone that want to play register and pick your team here and a apply to join league 8857
-
Thanks for sharing that - great story
-
I can't confirm they have cases but Sports World in Kad Suan Kaew has snooker equipment

Contact Daeng at May37. In my view the best architect in Chiang Mai Lectured in the US for 14 years so works using western practices and because he's Thai he can liaise with builders and make sure you do not get ripped off etc.
Make an appointment and go and see him you will not be disappointed
