Has the UK Embassy or Consulate arranged a meeting with Thai tax authorities to obtain some clarification regarding the new tax legislation ? It would be appreciated as we are currently in limbo. Most relevant would be regarding pensions and the double tax agreement. Does this exist ?? I would guess that well over half of expats living in Thailand have no clue or any credible information regarding this, which could become a major problem in January. Thank You

The Nissan franchise in Jomtien that I have been using for a few years has sold out to the BYD electric brand, as has the on at Laem Chabang. Went to the Nissa in Naklua, a tiny place and no staff could or would speak English. So B-Quik it will be.....

Definitely the latter. When I last did my 90 days, the IO noticed my extension renewal is due soon, asked if I had the money in the bank. When I said yes, my passport was thrown back to me as obvious I wouldn't need an agent.
