He clarified: The UN chief continues and stresses he condemns unequivocally "the horrifying and unprecedented 7 October acts of terror by Hamas in Israel". Guterres points out that he said yesterday "nothing can justify the deliberate killing, injuring and kidnapping of civilians – or the launching of rockets against civilian targets". He goes on: "Indeed, I spoke of the grievances of the Palestinian people. "In doing so, I clearly stated, and I quote: 'But the grievances of the Palestinian people cannot justify the appalling attacks by Hamas'.”

What are you talking about, stop minimizing acts of terror, that's what happened on the 7th Oct, not a mistaken report in the NYT. Off topic nonsense "chum" In the United States of America, terrorism is defined in Title 22 Chapter 38, of the U.S. Code as "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents".[10] -
Classic victim blaming. Shameful and deplorable. Dozens of those abducted are of foreign nationalities and duel nationalities as are dozens of those murdered, raped and tortured along with all the Israeli nationals. Even the UN chief had to walk back his earlier "vacuum" comments with this new statement: The UN chief continues and stresses he condemns unequivocally "the horrifying and unprecedented 7 October acts of terror by Hamas in Israel".

You really need to look up the definition of terrorism -
So called facts from Hamas that you believe.......

I was reading earlier that the UN had stated some hospitals could close soon because of lack of fuel, Hamas has plenty stored away of course that could go straight to hospitals and water plants. https://twitter.com/IDF/status/1716884494131868138?s=20

I read the whole article and what?

We don't agree with UN chief's 'vacuum' comment - UK PM UK PM Rishi Sunak rejects the comments made by UN chief Antonio Guterres, in which, as we've been reporting, he said the events of 7 October did not occur in a "vacuum". "Obviously we don't agree with that characterisation put forward," a spokesperson for Sunak said. "We are clear that there is and can be no justification for Hamas's barbaric terrorist attack which was driven by hatred and ideology." https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-middle-east-67201465

You've not quite worked this out yet have you. You made a claim now back it up, that link does nothing for your claim re Hamas, it may offer something in the US where they are not signatory to the Rome Rome Statute: Link needed to back up your claim below. The actions of Hamas have been noted as crimes against humanity . Unfortunately they escape definition as war crimes but are acts of terrorism. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308598-israel-is-at-war/page/148/#comment-18448782

Lame deflection troll, plenty of evidence from Hamas itself in the body cameras and confession interviews that have already been posted on this topic. Now where is your link to your claim.
-
Numerous but lets start with this beauty, provide a credible link to back this up. The actions of Hamas have been noted as crimes against humanity . Unfortunately they escape definition as war crimes but are acts of terrorism. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308598-israel-is-at-war/page/148/#comment-18448782

Not at all, here's a paragraph from it: "The representative of Israel said the Special Rapporteur hides behind the guise of human rights to spread lies about his country following the worst attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust. She is not independent or unbiased, he said, citing instances of support for the terrorist group Hamas on social media and her use of the term “Jewish lobby”. Worse, at an online conference in Gaza, Ms. Albanese said that resistance to occupation requires violence. Is slicing open a pregnant woman and removing the fetus and stabbing it required violence? Does it look like 1,400 dead Israelis and kidnapped hostages, he asked. Condemning the Rapporteur for questioning clear acts of genocide committed by Hamas, he highlighted the irony of her taking offense when her antisemitism is called out. Israel refuses to engage with her, he said, decrying that the UN empowers an antisemitic voice by providing a platform to spread vitriol." EDIT & there we have a laughing trolling emoji placed on a serious statement from Israel on the atrocities of Hamas.

That was posted 4 pages ago and there's still no 'genocide' and the Gaza Strip is not an 'extermination camp'.
-
You've lost the plot again, I've already done that
-
You didn't make a presentation you made unsubstantiated claims, read your posts. and stop the deflection troll "Any alleged factual claims must be supported by a valid link to an approved credible source."
-
You are obviously not and you have provided nothing to back up your claims as expected The International Criminal Court has the jurisdiction to investigate potential war crimes in Israel and Palestine. https://theconversation.com/where-the-icc-stands-if-war-crimes-are-committed-on-either-side-of-the-israel-hamas-war-216093

So you're telling me you know more than the head of ICTJ who works with war crimes daily. Are you also telling me that that because Palestine is a signatory that the West Bank and Gaza is not part of that? Try reading the link in full and stop the nonsense deflection and lies. Provide a link to dispute the ICTJ

Israel does not have to be a signatory

Go back a few pages and catch up, you are claiming Hamas atrocities "escape definition as war crimes but are acts of terrorism." You are 100% wrong "Premeditated, planned and deliberate killing of civilians — that's a clear war crime," head of ICTJ Fernando Travesí. "the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas that targeted Israeli civilians, killing some 1,400, clearly fits within the definition of a war crime. Hamas militants took about 200 others hostage — an act also explicitly prohibited by the Geneva Convention." https://www.npr.org/2023/10/20/1206157206/israel-hamas-war-crimes-international-law-geneva-convention
