  1. I am not interested in your opinions, I am interested in facts. Israel has not created a gold standard in civilian harm mitigation in war. That implies there is a standard in civilian casualties in war that is acceptable or not acceptable; that zero civilian deaths in war is remotely possible and should be the goal; that there is a set civilian-to-combatant ratio in war no matter the context or tactics of the enemy. But all available evidence shows that Israel has followed the laws of war, legal obligations, best practices in civilian harm mitigation and still found a way to reduce civilian casualties to historically low levels. https://www.newsweek.com/israel-has-created-new-standard-urban-warfare-why-will-no-one-admit-it-opinion-1883286
  2. There's evidence 2 posts up from this........lol Mountain of indisputable evidence of Hamas using hospitals as their protection and for holding hostages including by the hostages themselves! Hamas Used Gaza Hospital as a Command Center, U.S. Intelligence Says U.S. spy agencies believe that Hamas and another Palestinian group fighting Israel used Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza to command forces and hold some hostages, according to new American intelligence declassified on Tuesday. The hospital was the focus of a large Israel Defense Forces effort in November to take control of the facility, an operation that came under intense international scrutiny and criticism. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/02/us/politics/gaza-hospital-hamas.html https://archive.ph/XHj2C Click on the separate links on this site for more. From inpatient wards to the hospital basements: This is how Hamas turned Gaza hospitals into terror centers https://www.idf.il/en/mini-sites/hamas-operations-in-hospitals/ Then again the UN had Hamas bases under their own H/Q in Gaza (UNRWA) and they denied knowing about it. Figure that out.
  3. VAT on schools is not a tax, but an act of class warfare And it’s far from clear that it’s legal, too According to Chancellor Rachel Reeves, the extra levy will raise £1.7 billion annually, allowing more to be spent on state schools, and improving education for the majority of children in the state sector. And yet, Reeves’s logic and her mathematics are both in error. No proper account has been made for the parents who will have no choice but to move their children – increasing the burden on the state sector – or for the schools that will inevitably close, with the loss of jobs that will entail. In reality, the Chancellor has no idea how much money will be raised, and has made no detailed assessment. As with her extra levies on farmers, this may raise nothing at all. The claim that the school system will be “improved” by imposing a tax on a significant part of it, and one that may not in fact collect any extra money for the Exchequer, is implausible at best. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/12/29/vat-on-schools-not-tax-but-class-warfare/ https://archive.ph/wRKW0
  4. When will all this be in place for the SEND children? If not immediate then what happens those that have no suitable place now because of Labours new policy?
  5. There is a statutory duty for local authorities to provide education for the children within their catchment area. So perhaps they should do that first before forcing other school closures because of the VAT policy they brought in. Forcing a SEND child to now not have the adequate support they desperately need.
  6. But they haven't.......lol, that's the point. One of the reasons this is going to high court. So hopefully this human right issue will be addressed by the court and the whole VAT introduction stopped. A total balls up by Labour UK: private school VAT row to reach High Court https://thepienews.com/uk-private-school-vat-row-to-reach-high-court/
  7. Eh? Tell that to the parents who have already said there are no suitable placements for there SEND child.
  8. If the school has closed as a result of the VAT charge and there is no suitable placement in her catchment area then that's not possible is it .....
  9. Callous, what about SEND children where state schools do not have sufficient provision. There's been enough links to this already and you still ignore it.
  10. This has got to be one of the most bias polls ever created. Book marked for future reference. The board members Just one example Jess is a journalist. Her work on SEND provision, small failing private schools and off-rolling has generated national coverage. Jess has reported for The Guardian, Al Jazeera and The Big Issue https://www.pepf.co.uk/about/
  11. Let me know when you believe the IDF over the terrorists
  12. From your link: Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, where Dr Ahmad al-Farra, the director of its paediatric department, said she had suffered from "severe hypothermia, leading to the cessation of vital signs, cardiac arrest, and eventually death". Some more on the ever so trusted Nasser hospital...........30 hostages were held there. Released hostage Sharon Alony Cunio said Hamas terrorists held her and nearly 30 other hostages on the first floor of the Nasser hospital, where she was told to sleep beside her three-year-old twins “on a small bed, using a bloodstained pillow,” https://www.the10-7project.com/2024/02/16/icymi-evidence-shows-hamas-operates-from-the-nasser-hospital/ Have you ever thought why there were no reports of babies dying of the cold this time last year in Gaza?
  13. Oh the agony for you. Never mind
  14. The Union Jack flag in the photo before needing to read anything and then again after the first paragraph gave you no clue then.....
  15. I can only assume that posting the same WHO quote means your desperate and have nothing else to add? Tell him to stop Hamas taking over the hospitals and the IDF will then be more than happy to not disturb them. Quite simple really. https://x.com/MarinaMedvin/status/1873098153618227263
  16. Back to reality not what Hamas says 19 terrorists dead, Hamas claimed 50 people dead........... IDF: 19 terrorists, no known civilians, killed in Gaza hospital raid; Hamas said 50 dead Israel says 240 suspects arrested at Kamal Adwan hospital — including its director and 15 participants in Oct. 7 onslaught; 600 civilians evacuated; IDF wraps up Jabalia operation. https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-19-terrorists-no-known-civilians-killed-in-gaza-hospital-raid-hamas-said-50-dead/
  17. Here you go again, attempting to make comparisons to terrorist's and the IDF. There is NO moral comparison, none. Only Hamas supporters would suggest otherwise. More vile rhetoric. Keep digging, not sure you'll ever get out of that hole now. Israel & Hamas Are Not Morally Equivalent The IDF never intentionally targets innocent civilians. Hamas does so everyday “But you are morally bankrupt if you don’t demand that Hamas return all hostages. You are morally bankrupt if you don’t demand the eradication of the Hamas terror regime, which began this war … with the horrifying and barbaric massacre of 1200+ babies, children, women, and elderly, and the kidnapping of over 240 civilians. [And you are] especially [morally bankrupt] because the Hamas charter …advocates the … destruction of Israel and the death or expulsion of all its Jews. I’ll repeat: MORALLY BANKRUPT.” https://www.lincolninstitute.org/israel-hamas-are-not-morally-equivalent/ There is no moral equivalence between the IDF and Iran’s terrorist proxies There is no moral equivalence to be drawn here; the Israel Defence Forces have gone to extraordinary lengths to minimise civilian casualties, even as the forces arrayed against them have gone to extraordinary lengths to do just the opposite, deliberately targeting civilians while using their own people as human shields. That so many in the West have lost sight of these fundamental truths brings shame upon us all. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2024/10/06/israel-october-7-idf-gaza-lebanon-hamas-hezbollah/ https://archive.ph/9QpmW David Cameron: 'No moral equivalence' between Hamas and Israel The foreign secretary says Israel uses its military to defend its people, while Hamas "uses its people to try and defend its rockets". https://news.sky.com/story/david-cameron-no-moral-equivalence-between-hamas-and-israel-13024206 No Moral Equivalency Between Israel and Hamas Calling both Netanyahu and Sinwar ‘hard-liners’ is akin to saying the same about Churchill and Hitler. https://www.wsj.com/articles/no-moral-equivalency-israel-hamas-netanyahu-sinwar-de7354ac
  18. Who is claiming he was there? PCR certainly were. PCR with their links to Hamas. Majad al Zeer as the president of the NGO being there is irrelevant if he was or not. Stop making things up and read the OP. Or any other media outlet reporting the same meeting.
  19. A British pro-Palestinian activist, who has appeared in parliament at events with former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and other MPs has been accused by German authorities of being Hamas's key liaison in Europe. Majed Al-Zeer, 61, is alleged to have numerous high-level contacts within the Hamas leadership. A file from the German interior ministry, first reported by magazine Der Spiegel, named Al-Zeer as the 'person responsible for Hamas' in Germany and across Europe. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12898103/British-pro-Palestinian-activist-accused-German-authorities-Hamass-key-liaison-Europe.html The fact that the organizer has promised they would not be invited again sort of says they <deleted> this up and are not in any way trying to defend the meeting. Of course there are always those that will lap it up and gloss over the terrorist connections. Sickening.
  20. Leaving aside the facts that this is a make believe theory you mean. One used often by those opposed to the war on terrorists.
  21. Oh look more disregard for the poll results and messenger bashing, more proof you have nothing, just can't help yourself.
  22. I know what you wrote. If you did not have that in mind when you wrote it then you should have not written it. Simple There you go again, ranting with the rest of your post and neglecting who the real perpetrators of the blood lust are. Expected from you.
  23. Personally I think they should give this attention and not have invited them, known terrorist supporters. Not surprised though that you glossed over that.
  24. So the Times reports on a very large poll and now it suddenly becomes ‘salty’ fantasies When you have nothing, spew out some messenger bashing Here some more salty fantasies, this time from your go to Guardian: Labour fears grow as Reform eyes victories in local election battleground Nigel Farage’s party is building on the unpopularity of the government and is set to challenge it in next year’s polls. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2024/dec/21/labour-fears-grow-as-reform-eyes-victories-in-local-election-battleground
