    Can't go belly up till they move assets from the company unless they formed a company specifically for that project.

    The public is against this nonsense but politicians of all stripes are in favor so it doesn't matter who you vote for. In Canada the Torries brought in the Somali taxi drivers , the Liberals brought in the Syrians , most of whom returned when they couldn't trade their 13 year old daughters for goats. Now Ukrainians are flavor of the month. Also anyone from a French speaking nation is welcome to enter through Quebec before they scarper to the west.

    It's very simple , Trump announces tariffs before hand. In doing so he makes enemies and he makes friends. When the count is in he decides which way to go. Of course a rich mans vote is always worth more than a poor mans vote but that is figured into the equation.

    Might be fun to run one "interviewing" the girls but hard to make money. A friend of mine told me that his bar in Pattaya cost B3000 a day to operate. So if you make B10 on a bottle of beer you need to sell 300 before you can slide any cash in your pocket. That was 15 years ago.

    There have always been snake oil salesmen and they will continue as long as there are enough people listening to them.

    Large people are not always fat ,some are just big. I sat next to a Hells Angel guy once he had very broad shoulders and massive arms but no lard. A nice enough guy but there was no way that he could avoid occupying part of my space. I was lucky I had a window seat so could sit sideways for the three hour flight.

    No problem a few bottles of overpriced Chang or Sing, I doubt if they would sell much. Lots of Lao Khao getting licked up in third class but they wouldn't sell that anyway.

    I paid for a bigger seat on Nok Air once but the guy that flopped down next to me was a giant so I was no further ahead, waste of money.

    Does anyone believe they care about the Wiggers, it's about having an excuse to take a dig at China.

    I was staying in a hotel on the outskirts of Bangkok and needed to go to an ATM. By the time the taxi got me there he had B 100 on the meter. After I was done I thought he would turn around and go back the same way , instead he took off in the opposite direction. Down a couple of back alleys across a field and back to my hotel with a total of B 150 on the meter. They are not all crooks.

    What the media is missing is that Trump threatens tariffs to get feedback before enforcing them. If too many complain he will back off ,if he has lots of support he will continue. The good thing is he has no loyalty to his supporters so will go with the flow of public opinion. He will throw Musk under the bus in an instant if it will bring him some benefit.

    Same in Canada where the HR drones all dream of finding a one legged black francophone lesbian, so they can tick all the boxes.

    It's built into the system the more staff you have under you the more important you become. If you have ten people working for you and eight are laid off you go from a manager to a supervisor, like going from a sergeant to a corporal in the military . That's why the civil service will only grow.

    These places are dangerous especially at low water because the exposed rocks are super smooth and slippery. I slipped at one of these places twenty years ago and bent back my big toe nail. I put some tape around it and thought I had saved it till a big red ant bit me on the toe and it swelled up and popped off the nail.

    Things are changing with TV. I cut the cable in Canada years ago because they would not sell me what I wanted to buy. I have a smart TV mostly watch YouTube. I have been in Thailand four months and nobody young or old has turned on the TV. Raising the fees will speed up the demise of traditional media.

    A lot of negative comments about young Thais totally undeserved made by people with no direct involvement. It's all about the parenting, good parents make good kids.

    A somewhat outdated post. Nearly all the mansions in the rice fields are owned by Thais especially in the last few years. A couple of krauts showed up in the village and built mansions five years ago but Thais from the city are constantly building two of three every year.

    A Major General, they must have been desperate for a pinch to bring up the stats.

    Still not clear, did they catch him with any dope? Do they have evidence that what he was sniffing was an illegal substance?
