Wise seems to have internal processing problems at the moment. Many times now I have experienced delays from them. Yesterday big delays in processing transfer from a UK bank account to my Wise UK Bank account. Are they really technical problems? Or are they holding onto the dosh to make money?

can use hotspot with your Thai phone and Sim. I have unlimited data with AIS on my phone, I pay around 375 a month connects to pc no problem using hotspot, speed or around 20 Meg if you want something else, you can buy a wifi router from AIS to put in your condo, just plug it in. 2,400 one time payment for a year. Can use LAN with this. Speed between 20 and 30 Meg

get rid of all atm and deibit cards. use your banking app to pay for everything and to get money from the ATM there have been loads of people fleeced using cards, me being one of them, althought i did get my money back.

sorry, i wrote wrong. I am not looking to get the pocket wifi. AIS do a WIFI router that has antenna on it, and you can plug into it using LAN if necessary. I think they said it is 2,400 baht for a year. this is the one i want to try. I have been watching stuff ok with Hotspot from my phone on my tv, Motogp channel for eg, but its not up to the task when i go to vpnuk to watch Eurosport. So this is why i want to try the AIS wifi router............do you have the router, or the pocket wifi?

how are you finding this? i am thinking to get the same, but the speed needs to be good enough so that I an use my vpnuk for streaming Eurosport. As you will know, when using vpn the speed drops a lot. do you ever use a vpn, and if so, was the speed enough? AIS shop told me that normal speed is between 20 and 30 Mbps

why in Wise and not in a UK Bank? I dont understand why you keep it in Wise and not a bank, as it is a sizeable amount. remember, you get protection for bank deposits up to 80k. I doubt you get that with Wise if they ceased trading
