its really none of our business. yes, its obvious what is happening here........but we are not Thai, and we choose to live here or not...........for now at least we have that choice.... before we start criticising Thai politics, we should all take a long hard look at our own governments, especially UK and US

I was in for 2 nights, VIP single room, food, meds, nurses, everything...........19,000 baht. I had open repair. I shopped around big time before choosing which hospital all the private hospitals would give me an estimation, then ask me to sign a disclaimer stating, but if this, but if that.........etc..........i walked away each time......could see through them easily. nearest quote i could get was 100k, but if, bla bla bla

I gave up cycling here after a dog ran into my front wheel near Majestic Golf Club, Hua Hin. It was a domestic dog, and the Thai owners found it hilarious. But I am recovered now, and they are still fat and ugly. Also too many close calls with idiot drivers who like nothing better than to overtake you and then turn hard left, just to cut you up..........this happens when on a motorbike also. This country is way too dangerouse for cycling...........never again. Very sad loss of life in this instance, poor buggers supposed to be enjoying retirement.

Dont worry about it. Its not up to you to check Just make sure that you go to IO to register you are living there, and make sure they give you the paper to put in your passport that you did that. Job done.

I have been doing it online for years, and all of a sudden, I have been rejected onine the last 2 times. Had to go to IO and report done and accepted no problem why all of a sudden declined online after years of success??????????? You tell me..........fecked if I know..........typical of Thailand though, and its starting to get a bit tedious. i went to one on 2nd road, round the corner from Immigration Office. Cant remember the name, but my experience was horrendous. No communication to me, did two fillings when I thought only one was agreed, and kept me there for ages........i think my blood pressure was through the roof. It was very popular with Ex pats, but I would never go there again.
