    Absolutely agree, the IO staff explain to the 'tourist' they need to fill out a certain form, instead of saying OK, thanks, they starts asking why? Plus many of them cannot speak English and even though I am a native English speaker, even I cant understand what they are saying. How on Earth the IO staff can put up with this is mind boggling! Its no wonder some of them get frustrated and upset?

    Depends what time you arrive in BKK? Usually early to mid morning the line at immigration is small and in the evening, afternoons are the busiest as generally more flights land.

    Whilst you are correct, if a supervisor IO tells you something its difficult to argue the point? Just shows immigration is not accountable for their mistakes?

    Not perfect by any means, but at least its something and is sending a message?

    You are correct, they drink fall out of their chairs and start again. It can and does go on for days? In the winter in Finland, especially in the North, there is not much else to do.

    Some actually go over the border to Russia to buy it, because its so expensive? Well they used to?

    Being devils advocate here, but if the stamp is for 7 months and in the database, presumably, then when this person leaves Thailand at say Bangkok airport, how would the IO at the airport know a mistake has been made?

    I worked in Taipei for a few weeks about 8 years ago, very interesting place, especially the food, but I found very few people spoke any English, which made thing rather difficult.

    That's all you need! Been doing 90 day reports at Soi 5 in Jomtien for 7 years, first time say after going overseas TM47 after that just your passport with bar code slip from last time!

    If I have a valid visa/extension of stay, not married, living where I am registered, do my 90 day reports, why would they feel it necessary to visit me? To be fair I have been here 20 years and they haven't! Their job is to ensure every foreigner is in Thailand legally. if not what is their job description?

    Right, if someone had been charged and convicted of a crime relating to this, surely it would have splashed all over the news/social media. Now if it had happened to one agent, all the others would be up in arms, protests, maybe, I don't know, but it would big news? Certainly on forums like this?
