Phaya Thai hospital in Si Racha has been my worst nightmare. Had two, yes 2 stiches removed there. In attendance for this highly dangerous and life saving procedure were a Plastic Surgeon and two nurses. It took all of two minutes, if that. They charged an obscene amount. Had an operation there too. Insurance only paid half because of what they called inflated prices and un-necessary procedures. Never going back!

Heading back to Canada soon. Can anyone tell me if it's legal to take 1.4 million Baht out of Thailand as cash? If there is a limit, what is the maximum amount I can take with me as Thai Baht. Thank you!

My pp got soaked and the ink stamps ran plus some water got under the plastic film on the identity page which blurred the photo. Canadian embassy in Bkk said it was fine. I had it replaced regardless.

My son is coming to visit from Canada. We're planning to spend a couple of weeks at Mae Rumphueng Beach, just down the road a bit from Rayong. Does anyone know if there is a scheduled bus running between the airport and Rayong? Thanks in advance
