    Sounds like the locally produced pork is too expensive... demand is for affordable pork.

    The time to sort out the "issues" was before the 24th August, so everyone in Thailand and abroad would know what was happening with the PM's tenure. But as usual Thailand is always late and makes itself look stupid.

    The governments [plural] have failed to solve the problem... The public deserve solutions not guidelines. Redirect the military budget, we don't need submarines of F-35's.. use that money for real infrastructures instead. nuff said.

    Exactly my point... she has no real interest in working or living in Thailand other than the odd visit back to perform.

    So what will building flood walls achieve? As well as keeping water out from the rivers it keeps water in on the inside of the city. Bangkoks real issues are underground drainage and water table levels. Until those are properly addressed there will be no change.

    Enter Thailand on a tourist visa. Make sure you have the required funds in a Thai bank or monthly income required in place and go for a conversion to Retirement visa prior to the expiry of the tourist visa. Get all the documents needed and go yourself.. visa cost 1,900 baht no need for an expensive dodgy visa via an agent.
