Haven't found an answer to this previously so I'll ask hoping for some help. :)

I entered on a 30 day on arrival tourist visa and then extended it at changwattana immigration for another 30 days. I just got a new passport today (ran out of pages) and will be leaving thailand in 2 days.

Do I have to go to changwattana to transfer the visa extension or can this be done in Suvarnabhumi when I leave?

    Thanks!

You can do it all when you leave, just take both PPs along and also take the letter that you should have received from Trendy house informing immigration  that you want to transfer passports, from the old to the new  .

This letter is quite important .

When I did it at Nong Khai a few weeks ago, the whole process took about 40 minutes,

In the school director's defense, I'm sure he didn't want to forgo buying another Mercedes Benz rather than giving the teacher a raise.

So, the School director already had a Mercedes Benz and he wanted to buy himself another one instead of giving his teachers a pay rise .

Was the School director going to sell the older Benz or was he going to keep both of them ?

Thats a funny one, "she has no proof it is her child", now all the father would need to do is produce the mother or it will appear he has stolen a Asian baby. His big problem could be getting out of Thailand, all the mother has to do is file a kidnap complaint against the father with the police in Thailand and he won't get past immigration. Personally that's what I would be telling her to do.

The Child is a British citizen . He isnt a Thai citizen and he doesnt seem to be a Lao citizen either

He arrived on a UK PP and can leave on a UK PP .

Even if she made a complaint to Thai police and alleged kidnapping, I dont think that its an offence for a parent to kidnap their own child and the police wouldnt get involved anyway

She could make a legal complaint in Laos. although that would open herself to being prospected for having a child with a foreigner out of wedlock

And you said Thai women who associate with 'Farangs' not just bargirls. So normal Thai women are Thai women who have not associated with Westerners yet, is that what you are saying. I am confused.

You both seem to be making the same point .

You seem to be deliberately pretending to not understand the point

Not even closed shutters, just about anything that's not facing onto a main road (presumably where the police/army can spot them easily) stays open later now. Really, really easy to find a place to drink to until 2-3am if you know where to look.

       In which area ?

    Why not?

That is the excuse most people use nowadays.

Beat up an old farang couple in Hua Hin, kick them the head. Say I was drunk, apologise and all is forgotten.

Kill a cripple street vendor. Say I was drunk. Apologise. Get a slap on the wrist and off you go.

Did the killers of the cripple in Bangkok just got a slap on the wrist and let go ?

But the OP wasn't talking about going abroad even if he needed to replace the 'lost' passport that he has already found.

I posted in post number 4 about him going abroad and it followed on from that

A lot of these girls end up in nice houses and driving around in nice cars. Sure, only a percentage achieve their goals, but it's guaranteed they will not succeed if they stay on the farm.

Only the ones that marry a rich guy , the ones who stay single end up always living a hand to mouth existence, spending money as soon as they get it .

I could be quite a lucrative trade with a bit of planing .

Not having a child back in the village .

Start work at 20 years old

    Easily save a 1000 Baht a day .

Quite a lot more with a few big paydays

Then quit 5 years later , with 2-3 million Baht banked

    Set up for life .

Then get married, and them have babies

But they all squander the money .

Is anyone aware of any working girls who have worked and saved and gotton out the trade ?

Absolutely agree. No one should judge what people sometimes have little choice in doing. And it certainly doesn't make them bad or less human.

Its not just about sexual history though, its the personality that drives from that environment that is important .

An environment that consists of drinking, lying , presence ,  quite often stealing  and deception .

Their whole personality becomes fake , the lies become their truths and quite often many of them cannot tell the difference between lies and truths .

Some develop two very different separate personalities .

The working personality and their real life personality .

So it isnt judging people on their history ,

Some of then can indeed reform and become decent people , unfortunately, many of them cannot .

There will always be a lying , cheating, deceptive side to their personailty

Sorry I have been checking my post regularly, last time this morning and they were 10 replies. Just checked now and there's over 30! I am certainly not ignoring all the helpful advice.

I have changed my flight and I'm off back home, as there is no other reason for me to be here.

I will not be coming back here with my son ever. If she wants to see him she will have to travel to the U.K. The boyfriend is real, I've had a conversation with him believe it or not. I will let her keep in contact via skype as all that has happened is not my sons fault. He quite often asked to speak to his mum. He's only 4 and I can't deny him contact with her no matter how much I detest the woman.

    Thanks again for the replies.

Do not tell her that you are going back to the UK, She will most likely to come and get your Son

Do not meet with her before you go , She will get him from you and you may never see him again .

Do not tell her where you are staying . Just make an excuse for not meeting with her, get on the plane and get home
