    I left 3 weeks ago and won't be back until June, even tho our place isn't particularly bad for AQ... But combined with the heat its a no go zone for me. Never intend to sell house in home country (Oz). For those in their 30-40s "living the dream" in Thailand but with few assets or ability to grow their financial situation should bear this in mind for later on (being struck with no options to leave)

    Imo for once the punishment fits the crime, pretty sadistic to beat a dog to death like that when a good slingshot or some fireworks could inflict some serious fear / pain to the dog and stop the behaviour

    Thai also fly PTH BKK direct, admittedly a bit more expensive but a far more pleasant experience . Guy is clearly in the wrong, but if all started over a torn page in passport it highlights some of the stupid pedantic traditions the aviation/immigration industry cling onto. Surely they could have allowed entry and imposed conditions to ensure the issue was rectified

    I do recall the Mrs selling a house in regional City and she was very particular about the original land title deed (or whatever it's called here) - I thought she was being a bit paranoid but she would not hand it over until she had full confirmation the money was in her bank account - in fact I think they all went to the bank together...

    In my experience teen girls would be one of the safer riding cohorts... But clip another bike even at 60km.hr with no helmet you could hobble away with a few scratches... Or be driven off to the morgue... whole life in front of em. Sad
