Three Thai provinces suffer PM2.5 levels, most enjoy good air
UbonEagle replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Rarely here this time of year (weather š¤®) but Iām surprised by Ubon readings of 150 or higher, when generally the readings here are much lower than CM for example. While there is no doubt a light haze around (I put that more down to the blistering temps and near dead still wind), thereās no noticeable smoke odour, and I donāt think Ubon is large or congested enough to have high 2.5 from industrial factors. Going to Oz with the Mrs on Wednesday but like most here all I can say isā¦.bring on the rain āļø -
Flew into new terminal first time last night unawares, and I have to say the whole shuttle train etc functioned very well, no different in time to walking from some of the further reaches of the original terminal building god forbid it looks like theyāve just copied Singapore Changi instead of trying to put their own spin of Thainess on it š

Iām sure one of the main issues is many Thai kids donāt want to do dirty jobs they think below them. This is propagated by the modern habit (in most countries) of parents not pushing their kids to get out and get a job, anything to start, and you go from thereā¦ instead they often prop up their lazy entitled lifestyles, they are imo doing their kids a disservice in the long run -

As many have said anywhere coastal away from major infrastructure is fairly good. saying that, coastal living is not for everyone, with long wet seasons and persistent humidity. As for the mainland, the far eastern provinces like Ubon Ratchathani often has lowest AQI numbers this time of year, for a number of reasons I wonāt go into hereā¦not great but better than most other regions
