  1. No doubt the noose is tightening on the dinosaurs public sentiment/ social media and their own mind boggling constitution will catch up with them in the near future I have no doubt
  2. Seriously h90 you needs to get some new drugs…they’re clearly not working
  3. Sorry Kingstonkid but i dont think the 112 reforms were even a major factor in the massive swing at the polls. I think it was a countrywide reaction (particulary youth) to the belligerent face of the old school guard (Prayut/Prawit) thumbing their noses at the working classes (watches, submarines etc), promising the world and delivering little, the woeful state of the economy and the effect that has on poor buggers living on the breadline. I personally would love to see 112 chopped up but if they're smart they'll park it and revive at next election cycle.
  4. As many have posted the system is a joke, abstain votes should be removed from total required ie. today only 550 voted so the majority reqd should have been 275 which MF clearly has. Anyway cant change that now. How it think (hope) it'll play out is - MF will drop the 112 reforms, this will place enormous pressure on the senate to vote yes. They can always just come back to it in 4 years, if theyve done a good job and built the peoples trust (and the rigged senate gone) they'll be able to float and get thru any reforms they want.
  5. It’s just a pity MF didn’t do like most slimy politicians and keep any controversial policies buried until fully in the drivers seat this might have derailed the grovelling senators and their establishment boot licking tendencies
  6. Listened to a thing about this in radio in Australia last week they were talking about minimum $100aud/kg for the equivalent of hamburger mince ???? economies of scale eons away stick to the real thing ????????
  7. Even if the clown was to succeed, in may 2024 the rigged senate is done, MF move no confidence, re election and landslide win for MF. But this corrupt old fool and his mates will do anything for a few more months, or worse still are they trying to incite unrest to pull the guns out again…if they are I think this time it could backfire on them very badly. here’s preying sanity prevails and Pita gets the numbers ????
  8. You’re out of a job next year you fraud, don’t let the door hit you on the way out
  9. Can’t wait until the new mob can launch an investigation into his unusual wealth ???? then we’ll see how well he knows the constitution
  10. I may be wrong, but it’s my understanding that if MF is excluded, that the gaggle of small parties banded together would have such small majority that MF will be able to move no confidence motion, dissolving the house and triggering re-elections….now if they wait until the appointed senate is disbanded in 2024 ? they would clearly sweep to a massive majority win based on recent trends
  11. People on here making claims about it being hard for poms to retire to Australia must be on drugs ???? there must be more Brit’s in Western Australia now than most other jurisdictions in the world. Thankfully a bit more diluted on the other side of the country 555
  12. Don’t know why TV continues to run this story over and over ? Are they Uncle sympathisers ???? it’s very clear this is a stupid irrelevant technicality… I hope the serial pest Leekitwattana meets his maker soon, I think it’s only a matter of time ????
  13. Let’s face it, the computer age will slowly kill off almost all the scams for these guys, it’s almost always reliant on cash transactions once it’s electronic obviously it’s much riskier as easy to track
  14. My understanding that would be just a stay of execution anyway. 12mth on with rigged senate gone MF would just move no confidence motion and trigger re election, at which point they win by even bigger landslide
  15. Haven’t time to read all responses, but it’s pretty obvious the required number of senators will jump onboard to save their soon to be redundant hides…if not they can always bring anutin and his 70 odd seats into the fold if reqd tho I’m sure they’d rather not…that would be a good move for the ganga entrepreneurs who otherwise must be feeling a bit nervous
  16. Agree with dinsdale I think the senate rats will abandon uncle and clamber onboard to get some favour with the new powerbrokers BTW with this senate - who now appoints a replacement when one retires/dies etc ? and does this current model finish up at the next election or will it need to be legislated out ?
  17. Preying it plays out like this ????
  18. Quite amazing the $ these mid level public servants are able to rort. highlights the lack of scrutiny in their structures tho with waves of new software and cash society dwindling it’s going to get significantly harder in the near future to pull this stuff off
  19. Not normally one to lavish praises on RTP but in this case they appear to have done excellent work
  20. While I was caned in my youth at school and didn’t find it a major issue (it served it’s purpose- learn discipline) times have changed and need something more fitting. personally I would confiscate their phones for 1 day (1st offence) and so on but you can imagine the uproar of that in modern PC society….no easy solution
  21. As soon as I read “influencer” I got a very different view…fake news ?
  22. A small source which I imagine was from a level transmitter (common in older industrial plants, I have worked in plants with lots of these) is IMO no cause for panic even for people who had close up exposure unless it was for sustained periods of time which is probably unlikely. Imagine they were decommissioning some old plant and some one thought they’d just take some to the scrappers, how that happens is beyond me but lol TIT ????
  23. Agree with Steven100 above, very hard to know the particulars of this kid. what I will say tho, there are many indigenous youths around that age in the juvenile system in Australia that are completely OOC, extremely violent and very dangerous. Unfortunately they are just a product of abhorrent family environments riddled with substance abuse and violence. The billions of govt $ poured into welfare have achieved next to nothing in this area im afraid
  24. Young ladies wearing skimpy shorts in my observation has become a bit more commonplace but it’s def a late teen to 20s thing, can’t say I see many 30+ rocking these outfits Unlike what I see in Australia now with young and often very overweight girls wearing very tight and revealing gear such a turn off
