I think it's more accurate to say that Thailand is ruled by the royalists elites and the army and the the courts are there to see that their wealth and power is maintained. The generals are of course part of the royalist elite.

Thaksin has nothing to do with the CC and EC. These are legal arms of the military royalist elites and are there to protect their wealth, power and the status quo.

Can't happen. PTP would leave the coalition. I have been saying for months that a destabilisation of the current govt. is at play by the forces that want the status quo of the military royalist establishment. This is another step down that road. Allowing Thaksin back was also part of the plan. Am I being too much of a cynic/conspiracy theorist?
