Doubts Over Thai Senatorial Election Raised Amid Possible Manipulation

This will all be wiped aside and those who support the status quo will buy their way into a majority, in yet another non-representitive Senate. -
Thai EV Market Remains Unfazed by European Sales Downturn
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The main factors hindering BYD’s entry into Western markets include weak market demand combined with ambitious sales targets, a flawed pricing strategy, regulatory investigations by Western countries, concerns about quality, and the necessity for extensive post-import adjustments, and significant repairs. Build Quality and Software: The recent report suggests that vehicles exported from China required various repairs and adjustments upon arrival at their destinations. Vehicles shipped to Japan showed signs of scratches, while those sent to Europe were discovered to have mold. Additionally, some users have reported issues with the battery and other minor inconveniences, including frequent discharging of the vehicle’s 12V battery, the GPS providing inaccurate directions, and challenges with the vehicle’s washer/wiper system. https://cmr.berkeley.edu/2024/05/why-does-byd-struggle-to-penetrate-western-markets/#:~:text=Extensive fixes%3A BYD has faced, and structural issues in Israel. -

Indeed. It was put down to a wiring issue whilst recharging. Guess that would come under a quality issue. -

Expect Increase in COVID-19 Cases as School Term Approaches
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Say or cite what you like but as I said covid spread rapidly throughout China after they lifted the zero covid policy with the entire population wearing masks. You see the thing is covid is so contagious and becoming even more so that masks would have to be 100% effective and worn continuously to stop the transmission. Reduction is not enough. It will spread. This is the nature of the virus. Now with this spread comes natural immunity so the virus changes again to be more contagious. We cant keep wearing masks for ever. It's pointless. -

I do find it interesting that in China once they abandoned the rediculous zero covid policy it spread like wildfire. Remembering vision of this it looked like 100% mask wearing yet covid spread and it spread fast and wide. -
The puppeteer's approach didn't work then? Maybe the puppeteer will tell the puppet to have another go. Yaba is the problem. Not an easy one to fix but be sure that there's some generals making a fortune from it. Cut off the head of the snake instead of persecuting the users. Wait I've got an idea. Recriminalise dope so the price goes up and then even more will go to the cheap little red pills, dope will start being smuggled in again and the generals will make an even larger fortune.

What this paper doesn't address is the type of mask, how they need to be fitted properly and worn all the time. Schoolkids will be wearing cheap, ill fitting surgical masks that will not be worn throughout the day and will be pulled down if the student sneezes (I know this to be a fact as I've witnessed it myself more times than I can remember). This is the reality on the ground or should I say in schools. There will be a spike in covid I am sure but this is just the nature of viruses especially highly contaigious ones, mask mandate or not. -

Queensland's Chief Health Officer says it's time to stop using the term 'long COVID' In short: New research has found long-term symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to that of other viral infections. The term "long COVID" should be scrapped, according to Queensland's Chief Health Officer, because it creates unnecessary fear .... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-03-15/long-covid-symptoms-queensland-chief-health-officer-john-gerrard/103587836 -

Well said and I agree but why are people hanging on to this is another valid question. Let me posit an answer. Big Pharma. Big Pharma wants this drawn out as much as possible to continue selling their jabs and it's the WHO, governments and access media that is doing their advertising in the guise of fear mongering. Sadly though many still blindly believe what they are told and have no capacity to challenge the narrative. -

Interestinly mask wearing where I am has been way lower than I've seen for a long time. Having said this students will more than likely be made to wear them again when basically nobody else is and that there has been no scientific evidence to prove their efficay. The cheap medical masks are useless. The virus is if some don't know very, very, very, very, very, very small so escape from these cheap masks is guaranteed. Then you get the ones who pull down their masks to sneeze. students all sitting together eating lunch coughing and spitting. Yep. Make them where masks. It's a joke. -

Expect Increase in COVID-19 Cases as School Term Approaches

Basically a very, very, very tiny % of cause of death compared to most other causes of death. I won't say all because I don't know how many people in Thailand die from falling off ladders or similar such innocuous accidents. You just can't or won't let go. Covid is now a serious virus for a tiny % of people and within that tiny % of people a tiny % die. It's over. It's over any the majority of people accept this. -

Very sad indeed but why did this happen? You put these things up but never back it up with the actual facts just statistics. Was this baby born immunocomprimised for example? I don't know but do you? To show this is disingenous and you use this babies death as some sort of basis to support your narritve. -

Flu (maybe) colds (yes), RSV (yes along with other respiratory infections), STD's (maybe), mono (yes), herpes more than likely herpes simplex virus 1 HSV1 otherwise known as cold sores (yes), TB (doubt it), not sure what "bad humours" is so (don't know), conjunctivitis often refered to as pink eye (yes), Covid-19 of the Omicron strain (yes) along with other communicable viruses as you say. Although not a viral infection you could also add students killed in road accidents most likely in motorcycle crashes. It's what happens as you correctly point out. Only one seems to be newsworthy though so as to keep pushing the narrative. All up I agree with you.
