MFP aims to break Thailand’s alcohol monopoly
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I'll drink to that. Seems, however, who or 'what' produced this article doesn't know what a monopoly is. The market is an oligopoly. Boon Rawd Brewery, ThaiBev and Thai Asia Pacific Brewerey.- 37 replies

Yep. 7.9%. Not 8%. Chinese tourism is expected to rise by 27.1%. EV purchases are expected to increase by 31.99% and sightings of pigs flying is expected to remain steady.

Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It did get worse though. After the Jab. Is this just coincidence? I'm so happy we can have these conversations. Is the cat finally out of the bag? -
Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No I haven't gone down this road many times before because the road has been closed to two way traffic. This is a document attained by the Freedom of Information Act in Australia. It is a scientific paper so it's pretty heavy but it is now in the public realm. The paper is from Pfizer and was submitted to the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia dated Jan. 2021 pre-vaccine approval in Australia so the document is legitimate. It's very long and very detailed and heavily redacted (Why?). This is not just Google information this is an official paper from Pfizer. It will take time to get through but you tell me to research well here's your homework. https://www.tga.gov.au/sites/default/files/foi-2389-06.pdf -
Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
So why do vaccinated people still spread the virus? This is accepted. Why are people having 'severe adverse reactions'? Why are there claims for vaccine injury compensation? "The death of a psychologist after his Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab was due to "unintended complications of the vaccine", an inquest has ruled. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-65321937 This is no conspiracy theory or misinformation this is a finding from a coroner's court in the UK. It's in the public realm and this is only one example. -
Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Let me ask you a double barreled question. Do you think the vaccines were rushed into production and do you think they were fully and scientifically evaluated? Bit of a yes/no thing here. One word answer would suffice for either or both parts of the question. -

I may have misread this but the article sure seems to me to be about vaccine injury. I'm suprised we are even seeing this.- 59 replies

Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale

Surely this is misinformation on a topic that has been and may still be something on which differing opinions has not been possible and indeed raising any concerns was and probabaly still is deemed conspiratorial. -
Vesak Day Ceremony in Thailand to Attract Thousands of Monks
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Well. I should be able to stock my own fridge free of will and not be denied by religious or other doctrine. -
Vesak Day Ceremony in Thailand to Attract Thousands of Monks

The right path for me will be to the mom and pop shop on Saturday to buy some beer. -
Kids shouldn't be sold cigs, booze, vapes, dope etc but it's available online. Not sure about booze but the rest is. It's out of control. Welcome to the digital age. The future IMO is grim. One of the great modern time dependencies (not sure if it's addiction) is the smartphone. Never see any articles about this in Thailand. The destructive nature of alcohol. Nup. Let's not talk about that. Tabacco/nicotine one of the most addictive drugs on the planet but even on world non tabacco day let's not talk about that. The demons are dope and vaping. Just so pitiful how some people are sucked into the narritive.
-
There are non nicotine juices. Problem is control. Out in the villages you get kids going to the shop to buy alcohol for their parents. Probably not ideal but TIT. Adults should have the right to do whatever as long as is doesn't adversly affect others. This is a grown up world and should not be dictated by religion, short sighted politicians or vested interests pushing 'legal' and more harmful drugs.

Yep. A broken clock is right twice a day. Their record is absolutely dismal. By the way the wet season started mid May according to these 'experts'. Anyone notice that or is it still 40C every day?

Thailand urged to prioritise accessible tourism for disabled and elderly

Indeed. Cheers. Narrow steps and quite steep some of them. -
Thailand urged to prioritise accessible tourism for disabled and elderly

I am physically abled and in pretty good shape and for me footpaths/sidewalks are a constant obsticle course and the need to avoid whopping great holes or tables and chairs or advertising or rubbish etc,etc necessitates a move onto the road. Just more empty headed thought bubble policy. -
These guys just can't help it. I've lost count how many times they've been wrong just in the last couple of weeks. Heavy downpours throught this week. Mon had a good storm in the evening apart from that it's been the usual stinking hot and humid weather as the build up to the wet season continues. Greatest danger now isn't flooding it's heat stroke.

I guess a bottle of Leo would do the same trick. Tastes the same maybe a little worse.

Alcohol ban in Thailand on June 3 for Visakha Bucha
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Monday holiday is not alcohol purchasing ban and of course Saturday every one is free to consume alcohol and many, many, many good Thai Buddhists will be. And again on Sunday. And again on Monday. Very silly anachronistic law.
