Northern, Northeastern (Issan), Cental, Western, Eastern, and Southern are the six regions of Thailand. Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), the gateway to Issan, is considered to be in the NE region.
I would like to see some evidence supporting your statement. Omicron affects mucosal surfaces not lungs. As for "It aint over...." I doubt it ever will be but it (Omicron) is way, way less dangerous than previously. Indeed it really isn't dangerous at all now for the majority of people. I had it just shy of 5 months ago. Very bad headache, aching muscles and joints for 1 day (day zero). Eased off the next day and basically I was symptom free by day 3. Tiredness did hang around for quite some time though.
oubt it ever will be but what is happening is it's getting less severe. Omicron and Delta asre 2 different beasts. Omicron is our saviour not our doom.
People with lung infections going to hospital. Well this time of year I'm sure that's not unusual just so happens they have omicron. It's time for Thailand to take the masks off.
All the above comments have missed the point that this is omicron. Absolutely NO NEED to close schools. I'm still astounded at how many Thais (prettty much 100% where I am) are still wearing masks. I had it about 6 wks ago. Not real good for a day with a massive headache and muscle and joint pains (no fever), a lot better the next day and by day 3 (day zero being the day you first have symptoms and test positive) had no symptoms apart from tiredness but still testing positive. There is as far as I can tell absolutely no scientific evidence that would support this MORONIC suggestion.
Ok. A fair thought. Here's another one. Google deaths by marijuana. Sure kiddies should not be injesting it but I think this is either stupidity or fake news.
Yep. True. Usually very long lasting and if you don't know what's coming it can freak you out. Having said this it's a good way of taking it. No smoke in the lungs.
