Beauty Queen's Life Shattered by Autoimmune Disease: A Cautionary Tale
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Surely this is misinformation on a topic that has been and may still be something on which differing opinions has not been possible and indeed raising any concerns was and probabaly still is deemed conspiratorial. -
Vesak Day Ceremony in Thailand to Attract Thousands of Monks

Well. I should be able to stock my own fridge free of will and not be denied by religious or other doctrine. -
Vesak Day Ceremony in Thailand to Attract Thousands of Monks

The right path for me will be to the mom and pop shop on Saturday to buy some beer. -
Kids shouldn't be sold cigs, booze, vapes, dope etc but it's available online. Not sure about booze but the rest is. It's out of control. Welcome to the digital age. The future IMO is grim. One of the great modern time dependencies (not sure if it's addiction) is the smartphone. Never see any articles about this in Thailand. The destructive nature of alcohol. Nup. Let's not talk about that. Tabacco/nicotine one of the most addictive drugs on the planet but even on world non tabacco day let's not talk about that. The demons are dope and vaping. Just so pitiful how some people are sucked into the narritive.

There are non nicotine juices. Problem is control. Out in the villages you get kids going to the shop to buy alcohol for their parents. Probably not ideal but TIT. Adults should have the right to do whatever as long as is doesn't adversly affect others. This is a grown up world and should not be dictated by religion, short sighted politicians or vested interests pushing 'legal' and more harmful drugs.

Yep. A broken clock is right twice a day. Their record is absolutely dismal. By the way the wet season started mid May according to these 'experts'. Anyone notice that or is it still 40C every day?

Indeed. Cheers. Narrow steps and quite steep some of them. -
Thailand urged to prioritise accessible tourism for disabled and elderly

I am physically abled and in pretty good shape and for me footpaths/sidewalks are a constant obsticle course and the need to avoid whopping great holes or tables and chairs or advertising or rubbish etc,etc necessitates a move onto the road. Just more empty headed thought bubble policy. -
These guys just can't help it. I've lost count how many times they've been wrong just in the last couple of weeks. Heavy downpours throught this week. Mon had a good storm in the evening apart from that it's been the usual stinking hot and humid weather as the build up to the wet season continues. Greatest danger now isn't flooding it's heat stroke.

I guess a bottle of Leo would do the same trick. Tastes the same maybe a little worse.

Alcohol ban in Thailand on June 3 for Visakha Bucha
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Monday holiday is not alcohol purchasing ban and of course Saturday every one is free to consume alcohol and many, many, many good Thai Buddhists will be. And again on Sunday. And again on Monday. Very silly anachronistic law. -

Vesak Day Ceremony in Thailand to Attract Thousands of Monks
dinsdale replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Ok. So it's supernatural which means there is no evidence. You didn't reach the pinnacle so you are reborn to try, try again. Questions that pops to mind are how do you know you have to try again? How do you know you have to be a better Buddhist to avoid a never ending Samsara? It's a doctrine. -
Why dispute over House speaker could decide Thailand’s political future
dinsdale replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well make of this sentence what you will (underlined) but (bold) just how crucial is the role. Unless Thailand is different the Speaker of the House doesn't have a vote and is meant to be neutral. -

Thousands of shops selling high quality buds (tooooo expesive) are all breaking the law then?Buds are for puffing or making nice cookies or brownies. The medicinal side is still there but so is the recreational side.
