The pseudo legal apparatus put in place by Prayut the coup leader is still in place and is clealy on show for anyone with a glimmer of intelligece to see.

2014 Bangkok Shutdown protest leaders were CONVICTED of Sedition and were granted bail within 36 hours where they currently remain free awaiting appeals.
Raise three fingers, honk a horn? Proceed directly to remand without bail.
That said, it's better than the old days when they would just murder and disappear those who opposed the State. Now they use the "justice" system, and its inherent threat, to suppress freedoms.
The recent move to gin up pro-royalist support and sentiment is a huge tell.
People "disappeared" under Prayat's junta. One was found with a belly full of cement in the Mekong River.

As long as Thailand is a dictatorship by the elite/military this will never happen.

Another example of anachronist laws in a country of anachronistic laws. I've played snooker with BIB. BT20 baht a ball so small stakes but like all other gambling in Thailand it's everywhere. The missus plays cards all the time. Again small stakes but I can guarantee you at this very moment I'm typing this there are 10's of thousands of card games happening, Hi-Lo, snooker for money etc, etc, etc.

you think in the whole world is 1 kind Muslims?
is there also 1 kind of Jews?
or 1 kind of Christians?
wake up and don't generalize!
Thailand just wants better bizz, so why not invite other tourists over? so Muslims as well!
your comment says more about you though...
Whose generalising. The OP is about Muslims. Yes there are different types of Islamic faith (7 as I recall) as there is Christianity and Catholocism. This I am fully aware of.

Family leaps to safety from second-floor in Pathum Thani blaze
I think jump rather than leap is the case here. The good ol' The Thaiger. Always dependable for exagerated healines and chat gtp articles. Keep up the good work.

What do you mean? It is the reported levels from the monitors - it could get worse
What do you expect over "next 3+ months?
I thought my post was pretty self evident. OP says pm 2.5 will be worse this weekend and I basically said nevermind this weekend it will get worse over the next 3 months. Is this any clearer? Pun intended.
My previous post. "I think this weekend may not be the true picture. Try the next 3+ months."
As it turns out it seems so far this weekend it hasn't got worse. Indeed from the middle of the week it seems to have improved a bit.

Why? The new muslim woke brought about by muslims murdering, raping, beheading, kidnapping etc. Israelis on Oct 7. I've seen some absolutely pitiful westerners falling for this crapp. Free Palestine they say. From the river to sea they say. Absolutely no idea.

Up the price and I guess no problem then. Clandestine shops 🤣

We all know that Thaksin got the easy ride but the em bracelet thing is just an aside. If this is the policy and it's the policy for everyone in this category then so be it. No need for any negative or rediculous comments.

Teachers hate standardized testing. My grade 6 and grade 9 were pulled out of all classes for 6 wks to study for the O-Net exams. 2nd term I get to see these classes for less than 6 hrs in the whole term. This is the same for all other subjects. This is absurd. Fairly sure the reasoning behind this is if the school comes in with good O-Net results this is an advertising benefit for the school. Standardized testing is very much outdated and of very little use.

Lucrative has been given a new definition.
Who in their right minds would believe working in a berry field would provide lucrative pay????
So what if the pay is more than Thailand! The worker needs to live on the economy they are working in. A berry picker on what planet will make lucrative pay?
Absolute, total, and utter stupidity to believe such a thing. They send a lot of the money home.

And closer to home

Actually, if they were serious about drawing a line between user and dealer, the limit should have been 2 or 3 max. Why in hell would anybody want more than that, except for distribution?
Because they are addicted and dropping 3 or more tabs a day NOT because they are dealers. Dealers will have 100's if not thousands on hand or easily accessible from higher up the dealing chain.
-
Maybe Thaksin can personally direct extrajudicial killings for people with 6 or more yabba pills in their possession. Even the previous 10 pills is a small amount to be classifying someone as a dealer. The ultra-conservatives rule this country have no doubts about that.

Not unusual in Kalasin where you can have wks above the old 100F (same I guess for much of Thailand) and let's face it 40-45C is pretty much the same. HOT.

Thailand is desperate...
The 3 wks was never touted as a 3 wk holiday. Having said this I agree that it's ludicrous. What is meant to happen in these 3 wks? TAT like all departments here are full of thought bubble, empty headed idiots that come up with completely idiotic ideas with no thought at all put into to them. Arrival tax is a good example.

Thailand’s democracy index ranking drops due to unelected govt

I bet you if I posted a video of Dr John Campbell it would be taken down. It certainly happened before. Free speech and censorship is now a problem globably. 112 is now a political weapon to supress opposition.
